Lacto
Mexican
Non-veg
Serves meat, vegan options available. Mexican eatery with vegetarian menu dishes that can be veganized by omitting the cheese/dairy. Vegans could have veggie fajitas or a black bean burrito which comes with rice and a large salad (order it without dressing, just in case).

Mexican food in Siem Reap - Edit
Of course having Mexican food in Siem Reap might not be "authentic" (whatever that is), but after having eaten Asian food and health food so often on my trip, I totally craved something different, and Viva provided it.
Read moreI had a vegan burrito and it was not the best ever, but tasty enough. Service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant is comfortable and spacious. It‘s located right in the touristy area, but that was handy for me because I was visiting the markets there.
Pros: Something different if you feel like it, Centrally located, Quick and friendly
Cons: Not many vegan options , Could be too touristy if you want to avoid that

Awesome! - Edit
Thought it was a little pricey at first since it’s on pub street, but the portions were HUGE! I got the veg burrito (no cheese) which comes with a salad (no dressing but I squeezed some lime on it) and a bunch of rice and beans! Would forsure come back!

A few good vegetarian options - Edit
This restaurant has a few vegetarian options, always busy but good service. Food was okay for someone hungry after the whole day of exploring temples.

Disappointed - Edit
For us this place feels like a tourist trap. The food was just ok and we order 4 different vegetarians items that all tasted the same... It's even seems like if they don't even do the salad sauce themselves...

Nice veg options - Edit
I came here with friends (otherwise would have gone somewhere veg only!) and they had a nice amount of vegetarian options and knew how to make them vegan which was nice. Had the veggie burrito and it was actually delicious! They did put a dairy dressing on my salad and I didn’t specify not to so just be aware of that when ordering. They had great guacamole and margaritas as well!

Excellent Mexican Options For Vegans - Edit
A very nice venue with a good selection of drinks. The menu is omnivorous but has a large vegetarian section on the menu; most or all of which can be veganized by omitting cheese. Sour cream seems to be an optional extra "when available" but I would recommend stipulating no sour cream or cheese when ordering. I had the black bean burrito which was delicious and huge and was served with a generous portion of rice and a large salad. My husband had the veggie fajitas which was also a huge meal and he enjoyed it very much. Many more options were on the menu. Would definitely go again if we are ever back in Siem Reap.
