Great Food - Edit
We had delicious food and great service. The Veggie flatbread was phenomenal. The veggie wrap was good but the flatbread was better. Had lots of options (too many to choose from lol). Definitely a place to try.

Decent food with good views - Edit
There seemed to be quite a lot of options here which was nice to see. I had the veggie wrap, it was nice enough, nothing special. Service was good. Plenty of lovely outdoor seating with a nice sea view, some indoor seating too.

Pleasantly Surprised - Edit
Vegan sandwich! This was super delicious - it had fried eggplant, mushrooms, avocado and hummus! I was pleasantly surprised, I wasn’t expecting much but it was very tasty. I also got a smoothie and they took out the Greek yoghurt & added coconut milk for me no problem ☺️ They had a few other vegan options too.

Accommodating to Vegans - Edit
Really nice place. The waiter is open to changing up many dishes to make them vegan. Not very large breakfasts but they will prepare vegan and have many plant milks. Definitely a good place to eat and not feel uncomfortable asking to change things around.

No vegan menu anymore - Edit
We came here as we saw the great menu on the pictures on here. Unfortunately they do not do this anymore and only have a vegan salad and a tofu sandwich, both overpriced. So we left.

Not as many vegan options anymore - Edit
This place has only 2 vegan options. One is salad and the other one is tofu sandwich. We were waiting for about 30 min before someone even noticed us and then when I asked about vegan options the staff seemed quite annoyed. Then another 15 min went by without staff noticing us again, and there was 2 or 3 of them at that moment, after that we left the place.

Nice Tofu Sandwich - Edit
Came to this place late one night based on the HappyCow listing and after trying a bunch of other places on Hvar that had nothing I could (or wanted to) eat. As with most places along the waterfront, there's a host standing along the sidewalk to encourage you to come in. I asked her about the vegan menu I'd read about here and she said they don't have one but rattled off a few options they could make for me, including a smoked tofu sandwich. Sounded good so I went inside and was brought a very yummy submarine-type sandwich on crusty bread with really good slices of smoked tofu and veggies. I think it was the only time I had tofu in my entire two weeks in Croatia, and not for lack of searching. The host was lovely and made me feel welcome even though I was ordering a non-menu item. Thanks for the hospitality. The sandwich was good enough that you should add it to your regular menu.

Great smoothies - Edit
Lots of lovely drinks and a vegan sandwich on the breakfast/lunch menu. Vegan salad on the dinner menu but could modify other dishes. They may have changed the menu as there aren’t as many vegan choices as previous reviews. They do seem very happy to modify items .. i.e we replaced greek yoghurt for oat milk in a smoothie.

A bunch of vegan options, but average food - Edit
It's a bit hard to find vegan food on Hvar Town, and it's nice when you find a restaurant with many options indicated on the menu, like Vita Health Food Bar. They have meals from breakfast (like açaí bowls and iced coffee - I was craving for it) and lunch (like salads and even ravioli - see the picture), very interesting options in fact, but the "execution" turn out to be very average and a bit pricy for a small portion. The iced coffee that I ordered with almond milk came with cow milk and the service is a bit poor. On the other hand, the location, in front of the harbour, is stunning.

Came here for brunch and had the three little birds smoothie (cacao, banana, coconut milk) with the tofu sandwich. Both were great and would recommend. Vegan options are clearly listed and there’s lots. Only con would be that my non-vegan sisters meal was a bit small!

Not worth it - Edit
Ate here once during my time in Hvar, was not impressed. I was served chicken ravioli instead of the vegan ravioli that I clearly ordered. The staff didn’t really seem bothered when I complained, but they replaced my food. The service was pretty poor and the food was very average.

Nice meal on the waterfront - Edit
The alleged new chef is doing well, we came here despite some of the negative older reviews and enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Açaí bowl (could have been improved with fresh fruit) and the tofu sandwich were both tasty. Really liked the smoked tofu on the sandwich! Oh and they have oat mylk which is my favorite!

Good place by the water! - Edit
This place has a seperate vegan menu which was quite extensive, plus some smoothies and juices on their drinks menu which were sfv. They also had soy and almond milk for coffee etc.
Read moreI had the sweet potato gnocchi and the three little birds smoothie. Both were delicious! The sweet potato gnocchi had the dense doughy texture like a gnocchi and came with spinach and cauliflower cream sauce. The smoothie was delicious, chocolate, coconut milk, hemp seeds and goji berries I think! Would recommend this place!
Pros: lots of vegan options

Meh - Edit
Got advised to visit this place as they have separate menu for vegans.. choice is quite big and prices are quite average compared to other meals for "others". I took raw zuccini pasta with sauce but I didn't like the sauce, it ruined everything and i didnt even finish my meal even though portions are very small.. heard from others that their burgers were too dry snd portions too small. Wouldn't recommend this place. Staff was also quite rude

Great location and price is alright considering, but the menu is too good to be true. Very bland food and small quantities. You're better off to find another place.

A dissapointment - Edit
Vegan menu and also glutenfree options = super! I ordered a black bean burger with glutenfree bun, but unfortunately the bun was very dry, and so was the whole burger cause it had no sauce, vegan mayoneise etc at all. Patty itself was pretty ok but I was missing more veggies also. The location and the restaurant itself was nice, but can't recommend the food.

Underwhelmed - Edit
We went to Fameja - Vita Health Food Bar last night and we were disappointed in a number of ways with the food.
Read moreWe had the black bean burger, which came with a small portion of wedges which were uncooked and unseasoned. The actual burger was nice, however lacking in size and flavour.
The seitan stirfry was very small, and again lacked in taste and flavour. The seitan was salty but that was the only seasoned part of the dish.
We also went back for lunch the next day to try a wrap, however they no longer serve them. We chose the tofu sandwich which was small and again lacking in flavour due to not being seasoned at all!
Overall, given the prices compared to other vegan places we've been in croatia, we felt this was overpriced for the quantity and quality of the food.
Pros: Location, right by the water and boats., Fast and friendly service., Seperate vegan menu.
Cons: Expensive., Small portions., Lack of flavour.

great location, food ok & expensive - Edit
The location itself is great. Food pretty ok. Don't get the gluten free pizza though as it's a dismal excuse for a pizza. I hope they change the toppings on it. Then it would of been much better as I was super excited to see a gluten free base as an option in Croatia.

A éviter - Edit
