Amazing, must try

Incredible vegan food. I want to order everything on menue. They provide western and asian style food. Many different dumplings. The taste is really good. On the expensive side but worth it.

Wish we had visited earlier!

On our last night I’m Bangkok, still feeling spoilt for choice, we opted for Vistro which was closer to our hotel than other places we were considering.

We wish we had come sooner - the food was wonderful! We opted for 4 sharing dishes - Thai Curry Dumplings (our favourite), Mad Mala (fried dumplings with protein and bean curd sheet, Chick’n Skewers and Zatar Chick’n! All fabulous!

When we come to Bangkok again, we’ll have to return with a bigger appetite and allow for more than one visit!

Pros: Amazing food, Nice location

Tasty international vegan food

Light, modern interior and a HUGE menu that is hard to absorb on your phone. Place was almost empty midweek lunchtime. The edamame dumplings and vagyu sando tasted great, the cheese balls didn't have that gooey mozzarella goodness that I wanted but we're nice with the vegan mayo. The taste and texture of the magic mushroom pizza was fantastic, but there was too much cheese on it. It was so rich we couldn't finish it. Overall I enjoyed the place, just disappointed by the cheese balls. Super expensive.

All about the FOOD

This restaurant is easily accessed with a short walk from the BTS Phrom Phong. The interior decor is simple yet sophisticated with foliage and spots for Instagram photos. We made a booking for midday on a Monday, while there was a constant flow of customers, the reservation wasn’t necessary as there were plenty of tables available. The menu is operated by scanning with your smartphone. We were given lots of time to browse the huge all-vegan menu, it all sounded so good and included useful pictures. They do not serve alcohol but my partner very much enjoyed his iced caramel macchiato and my white berry tea came in a wine glass with berries and a sprig of sage and it must be the most refreshing cup of tea I’ve ever had! We ordered the K pop fried gyoza, cheese balls, fried chicken, miso ramen, meat feast pizza, mint choc chip and peanut butter icecream, lemon bar slice and maple pecan cheesecake. All of the dishes were delicious, fresh and lovingly made. The k pop gyoza were so good, crispy, piping hot, spicy flavoursome kimchi filling with fresh garlic aioli sauce for dipping. The other stand out dish was the Zatar fried chicken which was battered beautifully with spices and was juicy and succulent and you’d good fried chicken to be. It reminded me of a better kfc, incredible, I highly recommend.

Pros: Huge menu, Delicious food, Good dessert selection

Vizza!

Definitely worth visiting. I’ve been there two times and I want to visit this place again. Every pizza we tried was very good! Tom yum pizza is pretty spicy. Kombu miso broth in DanDan is soooo delicious! I liked chicken roll, it had rich taste but was a bit oily for me.
The place is easy to find. They don’t have the menu so you need to scan QR code to see it.

Pros: Tasty pizza, Good service

Cons: A bit expensive , Chicken roll was a bit oily , You need to scan qr to see the menu

Bangkok's Premium Offering

Stunning concept and execution. Can't say enough good things about the experience we had here. The menu is local, international, modern, exciting. We decided to go with more of the regional favourites so went with the dumplings and Mooping Soi. The flavour in both was incredibly punchy and each sauce was delicately balanced with spice, making it tasty but also a little ferocious. The salad that came with the Mooping Soi was not an afterthought and absolutely lifted the whole dish. It was incredible. We even ordered a pizza as we had heard good things and there was no attempt to go with vegan cheese or anything like that because the actual cooking and preparation of the pizza was SO good that it didn't need it. Very accomplished.
We even went so far to have a dessert and again, it was made by somebody who really knew what they were doing. It was so delicate and tasty that even I managed to finish it.
The premises are stunning with huge ceilings, a grand entrance and a greenery-tinged granite/wood feel to everything. The staff were excellent and helpful. Seriously, could've spent so much time here.
If you're of the veggie-persuasion, you need to come to this restaurant when you're here and it has to be at the top of the places you intend to visit. It's that good.

Pros: Most Exciting Vegan Food In The City, Everything Packed Full Of Flavour, World-Class Food At Reasonable Prices

Cons: It's A Little Bit Of A Walk From Main Street

I’ve been here many times during my stai in BKK and never been disappointed.
A bit expensive for Thailand but definitely worth it!

Among the best in Bangkok

Definitely my favourite vegan place in Bangkok.
The food has been amazing on every visit. While somewhat pricey the food is very much worth it.

I can’t even recommend one specific dish because every single one I have tried was amazing.

Pros: Amazing food, Decent atmosphere

Cons: Pricey

Not a good day for us

As soon as we arrived at the airport, we took a taxi straight to Vistro to try it out. I think our expectations were too high because it was a bit disappointing. I really don't want to be a negative Nancy and I do think we are partly to blame for our choices, okay here goes:

We ordered the Fettucine pasta which was excellent. Very al dente pasta, great flavour and creamy.

We also got the truffle dumplings which has uncanny and excellent flavour but had been steamed for too long, making them too mushy. Wouldn't normally be a problem to us but considering what you pay for 4 small dumplings, it was disappointing.

We also got the Zaatar chicken which was good in flavour but I think they put too much zaatar powder so every bite was unpleasant as it felt like having a bite of flour.

Then, we had the daiya cheese sandwich, crunchy and lovely but they went crazy on the lime which overpowered the taste and made every bite sour.

Last bit that we could've maybe fixed, had we just talked to the staff, was the Portobello steak. We asked for not spicy but it ended up being just cooked Portobello and it was cold as well. That was such a shame but instead of saying something, we just ate it anyway so that's on us.

I think we were unlucky in our choices and the place was really busy, so do try it out!

Pros: Vegan restaurant , Lovely fettuccine pasta, Many options

Cons: Disappointing experience

Best vegan food in Bangkok

I live in Bangkok for a couple months out of the year, and this is hands down the best vegan food in the city. Like you can’t go wrong with whatever you order, you won’t be disappointed. I meant to leave this review months ago, but just remembered because I have a craving for their flatbread. It’s that good.

Sorry Vistro you've dropped a star!

I've lost track the amount of times I've eaten in Vistro, amazing vegan place!

When I arrived in Bangkok in March this year I couldn't believe my luck when I realised that Vistro was only a 5 minute walk away! Normally I would check the Happy Cow app before I booked my accommodation but on this occasion I completely forgot!

Vistro is only a short 5-10 minute walk from the Phrom Phong BTS Station. It's situated on the first floor of the building although there is a small seating area by the ground floor entrance.
The restaurant has a nice feel to it, light open space with natural daylight.

The menu is really varied with western and Asian dishes plus a separate menu for pizza from Vizza which operates from the same place. Everything is 100% vegan and the food is top quality, consistently good. Always presented nicely and never fails on the taste front!

The staff are very friendly and attentive.

They have some separate food stuffs that you can buy on the premises and they do takeaway as well.

Update

I've had so many good meals at this restaurant and when they advertised that they were having a guest chef there I jumped at the opportunity. 7 course meal cooked by Simran Savlani @asparkofmadness was delicious. The meal certainly wasn't cheap so was very disappointed when I was then charged for filtered water at the end. Having spent 2100 baht for a a meal and then to be asked to pay 55 baht for pretty much tap water was an insult. Dropped a star for me on what was a poor management decision

Cons: Expensive tap water

Was ok but overrated

Was a little let down by this place - it was so hyped. The choices were ok - but very pricey. We enjoyed our food (we had the ramen and the curry dog) but not wowed. We enjoyed Veganerie more.
No alcohol served

Pros: 100 vegan, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Expensive , Ok taste , No alcohol served.

Menu has lot of variety. Service is super fast. Ambiance is good with a great vibe. I have ordered vistro dumplings. It was delicious.. Chewy with vegetables fillings, sour and spicy sauce and crunchy salty toppings!! Samosa is also delicious! I loved the pink chai which is flavorful and goes well with spicy food. Will visit again!!

Pros: Variety in the menu, Super fast service, Ambiance

Cons: Timings in the evenings unclear. , Online menu in google search is outdated

Favourite vegan in BKK

Always excited to come here, food is really good and much more adventurous than other vegan spots in the city like Veganerie. Would recommend the habibi wrap and the phish tacos, pasta in pink sauce, Caesar salad. New food options are developed on a rolling basis, they also recently started vegan pizza. The pizza is also great, rich sauce, convincing cheese (although was served burnt on bottom a couple of times, suspect teething problems with the new wood burning pizza oven).

Pros: Vegan’s dream, consistently exciting

Cons: Pricey, Hit or miss on pizza cooking times, No alcohol served

Poor Customer Service

I called this place twice on Friday, September 4th, 2020 at 1:30 and 1:45 PM to ask for information about their delivery service. Both times I called, the customer service did not care about giving me the correct information. As a result, I could not order online from this place.

Pros: Unknown

Cons: Poor Customer Service

A welcomed addition to Bangkok's dining options

Thumbs up. We very much enjoyed our first dining experience here and can provide a high recommendation (especially for those reading this on HappyCow). Iris was our service provider and offered great insight on the dishes and beverages. We landed on DIY Peking "Duck" and the Beet Ravioli salad as our appetizers and the Moo Ping Soi 24 and the Umami Burger as the mains, all very satisfying. Dessert was the Blueberry Cheezecake. Dining is on the second floor in a fairly large and welcoming area. There were several other parties dining at the same time including one group larger than 25. Menu pricing includes taxes and does not add on for service charges. Our recognition especially to Iris and the other staff for making this first visit such a pleasurable dining experience.

Pros: Tasty plant-based dish selections , Excellent service, Satisfying for non-vegetarians

Cons: None

Good food, but not the best service.

I was really excited to try Vistro because their menu looked amazing, but unfortunately when I arrived after making a booking I was told they were closed already. This was a shame as there shouldn't have been the option to book in the first place for that time. Having said that, when they were open the food was really good. We ordered the wrap and burger. Both were presented beautifully. I would definitely go back!

Pros: Big menu with great options.

Cons: Service could definitely be better.
