Mac and cheese - Edit
Finding great (or even good) vegan mac and cheese at restaurants is a challenge. Virtuous Pie's version largely succeeds, and I'm a real tough customer.

Plenty of places I'm happy to visit once, but I'll make a point to get back to Virtuous Pie.

We had several items! Pizza, Mac n cheese, kale Cesar salad, cinnamon pillows, ice cream, ice cream sandwich and fruit cider. It was absolutely delicious! Would definitely go again!!!

we tried a few different pizzas, but the apple of my eye was the mac and cheese...!!! it was perfectly creamy and the bacon bits were very yummy and added a nice crunch. And the garlic knots were SO good. i want to go back already

Really awesome place! Lots of diverse options. We tried a lot of then, and everything we had--the ton katsu, sergant pepper, and the spinach/mozz pizzas, the garlic knots, and the Mac and cheese--were delicious! Really friendly workers, too.

One of my favorite restaurants in Portland. The food is tasty and satisfying, and it seems relatively healthy as far as pizza goes. The staff are always super friendly and the food is ready quickly. The prices are very reasonable.

I love that they have a variety of unique pizzas that are DELICIOUS, which can be hard to come by with vegan pizza. We got the Kats-You Later, the Pie-rogi, and special pizza called “The Street Corn” which left me speechless, and the Cinnamon Pillow. All three pizzas were phenomenal, but the Street Corn was out of this world. If they don’t put it on their regular menu, I’ll cry.

Virtuous pie is definitely next level culinary deliciousness in the vegan pizza game. Their style of pizzas is more artisan and they deliver with so much craft and creativity. I was very impressed with their menu especially that they make their own V cheese.
Read moreI ordered the ‘Ultraviolet pizza’ with Walnut Arugula Pesto, Oven-Dried Tomato, Kale, Caramelized Onion, Cashew Mozzarella, Pine Nuts and all the flavors complimented each other for an outstanding pizza.
Don’t forget to order their delicious garlic knots they are definitely a must try item.

Virtuous Pie has perfected the vegan pizza and also serves up great garlic knots. You will be sure to find many seasonal pizzas on the menu. While Virtuous Pie is pricey, it is still worth it. What sets this restaurant apart is that they make their vegan cheeses in house.

We ordered garlic knots, Mac and cheese skillet, the sweet pepper and sausage pizza, as well as the Marion berry ice cream and a cookie for desert. Everything blew our minds, the flavor of everything is amazing and nothing is greasy or heavy. We talk about eating here all the time now.

My daughter and I were on a road trip back to Seattle and stumbled upon this place. We needed to get dinner and figured we would give it a try. My daughter got a margerita and I got the superfunghi. Both were so amazing, we had to double check that we were eating a vegan pizza! The superfunghi has truffle in the ricotta and it’s not too strong but you get a nice subtle flavor. The fresh arugula with the pizza gives a nice contrast of flavor. This is the best pizza I have ever had hands down. Very friendly staff and the ambiance is very cute!

Pies very creative and well made. Very friendly staff and pretty good little drink selection. The pb cheeses were really tasty and had no stank like some pb cheeses tend to have. had hoped the crust would’ve been a little more like Neapolitan instead of more like thin crust but appreciate their style/take on it and still really enjoyed it. Will def return. Had pirogi and buff cauli pies…pirogi was the better of two imo. Garlic knots also solid.

The variety of flavors and the fact that everything is vegan already makes ordering simple. The pizza was delicious as were the garlic knots. I bought a tub of their garlic ranch to take home (reminds me of garlic aoli more than ranch).

First, I love the name of this place. Lol Do you get it? Virtuous Pie because it’s a vegan pizza and vegans get called virtuous all the time. 😂 But honestly, one of the best pizza I’ve eaten. My boyfriend and I ordered the Super Funghi, Stranger Wings, and Carne Asada. Super Funghi was our favorite. All were scrumptious but you can’t go wrong with some shrooms 🍄

What else is there to say? Have had vegan pizzas at many places and Virtuous Pie has been the best of all of them. Their "meats" don't have an off taste to them, and the cashew mozz tastes like real food not the fake store bought "cheez" that every new vegan has disappointed themselves with. We also had ice cream, which was great. I'd love to (and intend to) try everything on the menu.

All I can say is that I would move to Portland for these pizzas and ice cream--some of the best vegan food I've ever had. The forager and buffalo cauliflower pizzas were unreal. The vegan garlic ranch was insanely flavorful and paired so well with the pizza.

The pizza here is so so good and there are so many options to choose from. We got a pesto pizza with a sausage crumble, and a buffalo cauliflower pizza and they were both amazing. They also have housemade ice cream which was delicious!!
