Yay for vegan food in Kerala!!

A little family run veg haven in Kerala! We were grateful to find it. Everything was tasty and affordable. Quick service. Nearly everything is vegan (and they understand what vegan is so no concern about if it is or isn’t vegan). We ate two dishes that they had available for a late lunch and got samosas to go for dinner. Seems like there are lots more options at breakfast and dinner time.

We had a nice chat with one of the young women who runs the place. We would definitely come back if we’re back in town.😄

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Yummy, Affordable

Great vegan cafe at the heart of town

It's a place that's really close to a lot of tourist destinations. Alleppey is just a few kilometers from here. The food is real tasty, especially the mock meat.

Pros: Minimalistic, Cheap, Healthy

Cons: No parking space

Local food!

Great little vegetarian place that is very popular with the locals. It has been running for over 30 years. Most of their food is suitable for vegans. They have traditional South Indian dishes like dosa,  idle, sambar, coconut chutney, vada, bonda, chappathi, puri's and mixed veg curry. Most of the foodnis also gluten free. I love that their food is not drowned with oil.

A place to go for that traditional local experience.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Affordable

Cons: Small dairy use
