Claim to have vegan daiya cheese available. Tried to order a vegan pizza and first got hung up on deliberately and told that “they don’t have time for this vegan sh*t”. Didn’t have any other pizzeria options and needed the pizza so called back later and tried to order. Was spoken to extremely rudely by the owner who was not flexible at all and refused to put anything else on the pie (asked about mushrooms / broccoli ) even for extra charge. Was told the pizza would be ready in 15-20 min after I deliberately confirmed my order. Came 1 hr later and there was no pizza. They knew that they were supposed to make it because when I walked in asking for a pickup order they asked for vegan pizza and then proceeded to tell me that they don’t have such an order and it would take 20 min of me waiting there. After such rude treatment and getting hung up on I didn’t wait and didn’t have the time to. Never order from here
* I would give 5 stars but Happy Cow APP allows it only for fully vegan places.
Looking for Authentic Italian pizza that is Vegan? Here it is. The owner, Vincenzo, who is originally from Naples, makes Vegan pizza!! I ordered a Veggie pie, pasta Primavera with olive oil and two vegetable soups. FYI, he uses Daya cheese on his pizza. The verdict? Excellent!👍
My go-to pizza place now.
I picked up 2 pizzas: one vegan and one dairy cheese. The guy behind the counter was extremely rude and mocked veganism for several minutes while I was paying and the pizzas were getting boxed up by another employee who was laughing along with what he said. I didn’t say much back because he didn’t seem like the most intelligent fellow to get into a conversation with. Neither the vegan nor the regular cheese pizza were that great, either so we won’t be returning—a real bummer since we live close by.
While waiting for my pizza I had to listen to the people behind the counter talk poorly about being vegan and the how they’d rather be dead than be vegan. The comments kept going. I’d rather make my own pizza than listen to such ignorance. First and last visit. Not to mention what they charge for a basic cheese pie is what other vegan “friendly” places charge for a speciality pie.
Hi,
This is Vincenzo at Vincenzo's Pizzeria and Restaurant. I want to extremely apologize for my employee. I wish this was brought to my attention, as anyone is welcomed into my restaurant. We have been serving vegan food & pizza for a while and this is the first time I am aware of my employee acting out. As the owner, this issue will be handled. I am also sorry for the late response. Enjoy the rest of your night.
