Tasty, original and healthy.

My favourite restaurant.
The food is so original and they never use margarine.

Salad bar and hot cooked dishes table.
At least 8 fresh delicious soups every day.
Also vegan pizzas, and pies and borekas. And other delights.
All the food is freshly cooked.
The chocolate muffins are to die for! Plus all the other yummy desserts.

The owner and staff are so helpful and courteous.
Completely vegan.
Mehadrin too.

Pros: Large selection of tasty dishes. , Helpful staff, Lovely ambience

Buffet with range of options

Popular place so had to wait for a seat. Eventually got a table by the door which customers felt that closing was optional on a cold December night. Friendly staff. Buffet style but some meal options. I went for the Shepherds pie expecting half of what was in display but got all of it. Not realising this I also had the mushroom soup which was tasty and sides of mixed veg. The pie was disappointing; it didn’t keep warm very long and the meat alternative was one of the least enjoyable I have had. Mixed veg was good.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, Totally vegan

Cons: Don’t sit near the door at winter, Tasted better

Don’t leave without an icecream lolly!!

I was slightly confused by the experience, especially the pricing, but the staff were very helpful. My husband had the buffet and I had the delicious vegan lasagne and a salad. The turmeric butter was unusual and tasty. I was on the way out before I noticed the ice creams. I almost left without one, but I’m so glad I didn’t. The pistachio lolly was the nicest vegan icecream I have ever had. Great experience overall and it was lovely, cool and relaxing in the garden area.

Pros: Choice, Bursts of delicious flavours, Quite a few seats

Cons: Confusing pricing, Buffet items weren’t as warm as they could be

Best vegan restaurant that I have been to in a while!

Amazing buffet self-service, good prices, vegan garlic butter and lasagna (what more do I really need to say?)... Great service and great cheesecake for desert! 5/5 recommended, will have lunch there every time I’m in Jerusalem!

Pros: Great price, Amazing vegan butter included, Self-service buffet

Cons: Limited (and expensive) parking nearby

Best food in Israel

It was such a nice find, this place, I didn't know what to expect but it has amazing food served in buffet style and you can fill up your plate how much you want one time. Then it also has some tarts, quiches and desserts payed each individually.

Pros: Lots to choose from

Don’t eat the display food

Was taking full advantage of the self serve system filling my plate when I was informed it was display food, shrugging it off I ate the 2 week old samosa’s telling the staff “I prefer their aged flavour profile”

Pros: High flavour profile, Helpful staff

Cons: Display food not eatable , Samosa at least 2 weeks old

Staff deserve a sixth star!

The food at Village Green was delicious. There was a wide variety to pick from both hot and cold food which I ate plenty of. The crowning glory, however, was the incredible staff. I was served by a lovely American girl, which meant that I was able to communicate easily (I don’t speak Hebrew!) and she was so helpful and chatty. The ease of vegan food in Isreal has been incredible and I feel spoilt.

Amaaazing food

They have a vegan buffet and you can put as much on your plate as you can fit on there. Also they have multiple sorts of soup, pies, cookies and muffins.tje food is really good and it's very hard to choose because everything looks so good. The prices are really good compared to the rest of the city. There's a very good atmosphere and the people are very nice. They love to help you make your choice.

Pros: 100% vegan, Lots of choices

New and improved!

The last time I had been to Village Green they were still on Jaffa St and not vegan yet. I checked out this new and all vegan location and was totally impressed! The buffet is affordable, very wholesome and healthy, and delicious! The dessert I tried (peanut butter chocolate pie) was out of this world!!! The coffee was good too. I ended up getting a whole second meal to go for dinner.

Pros: affordable, delicious desserts, wholesome, healthy food

Solid but pricey

The food is ok, nothing that blows you away but for what you get, it’s too overpriced in my opinion. Has some nice sitting areas - outdoor and in.

Soups are OK. Forget the "hot" food.

Had an early dinner here and got two soups and one buffet plate to share with my partner. For the buffet, you pay 44 shekels for a small-ish plate and it's all you can eat. So do feel free to pile it on (as much as you can finish, of course) to get the most bang for your buck.

Soups were not bad because they tend to keep well. The side-bread we chose was pretty good too, albeit a little bit on the dry side. The vegan butter did come in handy. However, the "hot" station was kind of gross. Everything was stale or dried-out, bland, and barely lukewarm. They looked like they'd been sitting there for days. The highlight of the meal turned out to be this third-party popsicle they were also selling on the side.

I wouldn't go out of my way for this place. If you must though, stick to the soup and get one (or two) of those refreshing popsicles on your way out. This is a 2.5 rounded up to a 3.

Pros: great popsicles

Cons: blah "hot" station

Quality all-vegan food!

I had the lentil soup and salad on the first visit, and the amazing shepherd's pie on my return visit, followed up with a tasty chocolate tarte dessert. Nice outdoor seating area at the back. Well recommended!

Pros: Self-service buffet! Loads of choice!

More Items And Exprmsive

The placed merged with their location from Yoffo Street. Mostly a buffet place. A little pricy. Not much choices fir raw salads or non cocked foods. Nerd to expand their salads, vegan, and non cocked/raw food items. If you are looking for raw foods or salads I would go somewhere else.

Pros: Friendly., Close to Ben Yehuda Street

Cons: Pricy/Expensive., Not enough Dakar options., Needs more vegan and raw food options.
