Bed and breakfast built from recycled materials and uses solar panels, organic bed sheets and cleaning products. A vegan breakfast served to the guests rooms generally includes bread, muffins, pancakes, and granola. Location is close to the Dutch coast. Check in 3-8pm, check out by 10:30am. Open Mon-Sun 09:00-21:00.

Zeer gezellige B&B, vlak bij het strand. De kamers zijn zeer groot en afgewerkt met veel oog voor detail. Het ontbijt is (natuurlijk vegan 🎉🎉) geweldig lekker en varieert elke dag. Het wordt met veel liefde klaargemaakt door de uitbaters.

Great vegan B&B! - Edit
We (me and my partner) had a great time staying at Villa la Vida. The breakfasts were both delicious and original: we stayed for 3 nights and had 3 different breakfasts! The room was cosy and nicely decorated, and we appreciated having the table to sit at when coming back to the room in the afternoon after a walk on the beach. Selma and Michel are great hosts who are friemdly and easily approachable. We definitely recommend staying here!

The beach and some restaurants with vegan options can be reached by foot. There is also a direct bus connection to Alkmaar. From there it’s easy and cheap to reach Amsterdam by train.

Read moreTheir place is impeccably clean, welcoming and bright. The tasteful, entirely vegan interior gives it a warm, cozy feel.
Selma and Michel are very nice, kind and approachable. They were also very present and available and could provide excellent recommendations for local (and less local) food venues, sights and attractions.
Their place is eminently reachable by public transport (there's a bus stop practically outside the door), it is close to the beach and shopping areas but, all the while, very quiet.
If you're looking for a retreat, look no further!
And did we mention the breakfast? Absolutely amazing, entirely vegan, varying daily and unbelievably morish!

Perfect vegan spot near the beach - Edit
We truly enjoyed our stay in this B&B. It is run by a friendly, inspiring vegan couple. There are always there for you for some advice or just a nice chat, but give you all your privacy at the same time.
Read moreBreakfast is served in your room at a time chosen, and it’s delicious, with a great variety of products. It also suits non-vegans, as there is plant based cheese, ham, etc. They definitely won’t miss their meat or dairy.
The rooms are stylishly decorated, quiet and clean, the bathroom very new and modern. The location is perfect: on walking distance to the sea, restaurants en supermarket in town. Also the bus to Alkmaar (closest city nearby, famous for its cheese market) stops almost right in front of the B&B. Perfect place to go!

Leuke plek om te overnachten. Sfeervolle kamer en erg schoon! In de ochtend ontbijt op de kamer volledig veganistisch als je dit wilt. Je slaapt bij de gast heer en dame in de woning maar zo voelt het niet! Zeer vriendelijk. Kortom aanrader!

Very happy that we chose this bed & breakfast for our trip to the coast. The owners are super friendly, warm & welcoming people. They put lots of effort in their vegan breakfast, which includes home-baked goods.😁It's awesome (and pretty unique in the Netherlands) to be able to eat a complete breakfast at a b&b without any worries! The rooms are beautifully decorated and the house is very charming.

Die beiden Hotelbesitzer sind wirklich sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und das Frühstück bekommt man im Zimmer serviert. Es variiert jeden Tag und es gibt auch immer etwas selbst gebackenes dazu, alles war super lecker. Die Nähe zum Strand und die Busanbindung sind ideal. Uns hat es wirklich sehr gut gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen😄❤️👍

Had a very pleasant stay with Selma and Michel. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, we got a very attentful free upgrade. The breakfast was delicious and varied each day which is a nice surprise.
Read moreBut most of all the location is perfect. Close to the center of Egmond an Zee and it is just a five minute walk to the beach where you can enjoy the sunset.

Michel and Selma has the perfect spot to have a veggie experience in The Netherlands. The cozy home it is just perfect to rest and have a slow life days and live a local experience.

The vegan breakfast was amazing!😄
The owners Selma & Michel Krap were very sweet and helpful, in the email contact before I went to stay and also when I was there, answering my questions and offering suggestions on places to eat, where to rent a bike, even offering to make a diner reservation, bringing me a piece of delicious homemade cake, etc.

Delicious vegan breakfast, served by very kind hosts at this beautiful place nearby the beach and the center of town. The B&B is sustainable designed, hosts Michel and Selma are vegan too, and that makes the difference.
