Cozy atmosphere and great food - Edit
Ironically located next to the Meat Lover’s Pub in the city center, Vieta’s menu has many vegan and veganisable dishes. The inside is quite small, but has an aesthetic that is both visually appealing and comforting. I ordered the sun-dried tomato tapenade to share as a starter with my boyfriend, and we both loved it. My boyfriend had the tofu fish and chips as a main, while I ordered the vegan soya chili panini. The tofu fish and chips tasted nice, but they did not have much of that “fishy” taste and the portion was small for the price (7.50, I believe the most expensive item on the menu). As for the soya chili, I hadn’t specified very well that I wanted the panini rather than simply the chili itself, but since I had already had a starter with bread I didn’t mind the lack of panini. The chili was a very large portion for the price (only 4.80) and tasted amazing. They also have many reasonably priced cocktails, wines, and beers, as well as coffees. Overall a good experience!

Great place for lunch! - Edit
This place is right next door to the unfortunately named “Meat Lovers Pub” (boo!), and isn’t well signed - were it not for Happy Cow we wouldn’t have found this place! I’m glad we did go though, as this was perfect for lunch. Yes, there aren’t many options, but the options there were here were great! And it meant they served them quickly! Contrary to other reviews here we found the waitress very friendly, she recommended some other places to us too!

Cons: Next to “meat lovers pub”

doesn't have a big menu, in fact, during lunch, we were aloud to pick up only lunch menu out of 2 options. Bean soup was amazing indeed, the second dish was also great. Friends tried pasta, nothing special, they said.

Yummy, but dissapointed in waiters - Edit
We came in on the Tuesday evening, so the cafe was empty, but the waiter was not really interested in us and kept playing with her phone instead of bringing the menu. We had to wait for the check for some time, because the waiter went out for the smoke. On the other hand food was very delicious and there is a lot to choose from.

I had to wait about 5 minutes for a table (they only have 5), but they took my order while I waited. Lots of vegan options and the panini I had was very good.

Nice burgers - Edit
We’ve ordered tofu burger and soy burger. Tofu burger was a bit dry, but soy was very nice and juicy. The place is cozy and staff is friendly. Could have more fries and salad with burger, but burger was the right size.

Good food, good value, friendly atmosphere - Edit
It's a vegetarian restaurant (e.g. with dairy) but vegan-friendly. It's located in the Old Town barely a 5 minute walk from the Town Hall. It's fairly small — maybe 5 tables plus the bar. "Cozy" as some other reviews called it.
Read moreThe one staffperson there was very friendly and helpful. And the service was pretty quick.
I had the marinated soyburger with cheese, which was very good. (It, like most non-vegan things on the menu, can be made vegan.) It came with a small salad and fries aka chips. That plus a drink plus 3 of their delicious homemade fruitbars (two to bring home!) was under €10.
All in all, highly recommended.
Pros: Really good food, Really good value, Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: A bit small, might be hard to find seats

Vegan friendly hipster caffe - Edit
Vieta has vegetarian menu, but you can ask for vegan options. They serve spreads, sandwiches, burgers, salads, fresh juice. It worth to have lunch here, because everyday you can have different offers (soup, 2 main courses and a dessert, but dessert is not always vegan). Food is simple, tasty and fresh. Offers a wide selection of alcohol drinks (beer, wine, spirits), so it's a cozy place for chillout time in the evening. However, the place is really small, so sometimes you may not get a table.

Small cozy place in old town. Quite busy, local people/students. Food was very tasty, enough vegan options. They had iced coffee soy milk, which I recommend if you're a coffee lover.

Great place for lunch - Edit
Vieta is a cosy little place in Vilnius Old Town. It's vegetarian, but has tons of vegan options. It's ideal place for lunch - they have daily lunch specials that you'll find written on the board. And if you come later in the evening - tons to choose from the menu. I love their burgers and hot sandwiches, but l've also heard their tofu scramble is amazing.
Read moreIt's also a great place to organise a birthday party etc. - you agree in beforehand with the staff and they will prepare tons of vegan snacks that aren't on the menu - my omnivore friends were really impressed!

Vegan friendly place - Edit
The restaurant is fully vegetarian, but they have vegan options, too, which is very great. There are not so many places to sit and as it is a popular restaurant, sometimes you may need to wait for the table during the lunch time. However it is always worth doing it, because the food is really great. And the staff is friendly. I would say it is very nice place to have a lunch or dinner with your friends or family!

Yummy - Edit
A nice, cozy environment that is not too big. The staff was really friendly. I highly recommend both vegan burger options - tofu and soy steak. They were both generous in size and delicious. They both came with a side of thick cut fries, salad with pesto dressing, and two small pickles. This place also serves Fentimans soda!
