Really fresh and healthy food - Edit
I often come here for lunch. Everything is vegetarian, and most of the time, the lunch menu is vegan. The food is really healthy, grown by the grocery store itself, and freshly prepared. I could feel the difference while eating it. It's worth the price since what is more valuable than a healthy and conscious life?

great veggie food - Edit
We went to Vier Linden's vegetarian/vegan brunch, which is held the first Sunday of every month. There's a wide variety of food (cold dishes--beans, lentils, vegetables, etc.); cheeses; breads; and hot dishes (several different vegetable patties, a mini-quiche that's vegan, a variation on a samosa, potatoes, greens, and a cheese-less "cornmeal pizza"). Plus a vegetarian and a vegan apple strudel. A lot of delicious food, and we'll be going back regularly.

Note, cafe is also called Imbiss Cafe; I don't understand the relationship between the two names.
Pros: great food, lots of vegetarian options

Amazing place - Edit
It's an amazing place! Great natural tasting food and a cozy place to eat. Many vegan options (but the lunch menu is usually just vegetarian), salads, bread and sweets but watch out for hidden eggs. Labels are there, but a bit hidden.

well worth it - Edit
Vier Linden is a delightful spot, sufficiently removed from the
Read moretouristy parts of Zürich (yet easily accessible from them) to have a
local feel. There are really three stores here: a warm buffet, a
bakery, and a restaurant. The restaurant has a small selection of
prepared food, including a weekly special and daily special. The
specials are a small assembly of diverse elements. You can get the
specials in a large or small plate; the small plate was itself a good
meal, so I imagine the large plate is pretty filling. The food is
tasty and fresh. Well worth a visit. It may be the most affordable
vegetarian restaurant food in Zürich.
Pros: good food, not expensive, plenty of choice across the stores
Cons: small menu selection
