Lovely friendly vegan café - Edit
We entered thinking it was vegetarian so we asked if it had vegan options and we were told that it was exclusively vegan, but did have moo milk too 😅
Read moreThe owner, Hamza, is very friendly and his falafels are very nice (we think we might have tasted them in the past in Bridport from his stall). We tried to taste everything and we liked all of the food 😋😋😋

Lovely cosy cafe with good vibes - Edit
Stopped off for a quick lunch while in Dorchester. Staff were lovely and cafe had a cosy feel. Food took quite a while to come out and some items were unavailable by the time we visited (around 1pm) but when it did arrive the food was very tasty. The falafels were particularly good. Lentil soup was delish and great value for money.

Ate here as a family. Nice cosy place. Limited menu - made worse by the fact items were blocked out on our menu but we later heard others ordering those items.

Excellent Vibes! - Edit
Went to Dorchester to visit Vinyl Van record shop and did a quick search for vegan eateries, this place seemed perfect and was. Had the falafel wrap and it was amazing. We had a moment when we realised we’d had met before at a festival. Falafel this good stays in your memory. Would absolutely recommend this wonderful place if you are ever near Dorchester

A really nice atmosphere, great for coffee & cake or lunch. We had coffees & then a Buddha bowl & wrap. All delicious. The staff member generously warmed some of the Buddha bowl salad for me & served with extra bread.

Welcoming place where we greatly enjoyed our lunch: delicious mushroom soup, bowl with all colours veg and falafel and super tasty shoarma plate. First class hot chocolate and cofee with homemade fruit cake. It was the best place we visited in 3 weeks holidays in South England.

Not a good experience - Edit
Only some of the order came for one of the party and we were left to wait for the rest , whilst others who came afterwards ordered and served. Eventually the staff member serving said they didn’t have the ingredients and weren’t making it. So after an hour we paid for what we had and left, so our planned nice lunch out was a disaster. Communication needs improving and telling customers they aren’t going to get their meals rather than leaving them waiting is the minimum.

Excellent Vegan Lunch - Edit
I had the toasted falafel wrap. It was freshly prepared and it tasted delicious. It even tasted toasted too, so very unusual. The pricing was average, and the service was very good. A nice, small, homely restaurant. Clean too.

Vegetarian place, but only because they have milk for their hot drinks. All food is vegan, they have lots of plant milk. We stumbled across this place on a day out and we're really glad we did.

Great food and a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. An interesting menu with vegan mac & cheese, various wraps, mushroom "ribs", burger, buddha bowl.
Read moreWe had a jackfruit wrap which was a lovely cheesy bbq indulgence and a pesto wrap, which was crunchy and fresh. Also came with good side salad with excellent creamy vegan coleslaw.
We also had mac and cheese and wedges to share which were both fab.
The dog was made welcome with water and treats available.
They had an interesting variety of hot drinks like turmeric or beetroot lattes and milkshakes. Also a tempting selection of cakes, although we didn't try these this time.
Pros: Lots of good vegan options, Very tasty food, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Portions weren't huge, but were good quality

All good vegan-friendly, but dairy for drinks… - Edit
Vibes is the only vegetarian cafe in Dorchester and they have converted their food menu to be fully vegan-friendly. But - they still serve dairy with hot drinks, although milkshakes are vegan by default.
Read moreLovely people, nice airy space with outdoor seating, and tasty selection including breakfast and lunch savouries, cakes, hot drinks and milkshakes.
Hoping they will take the final step to being fully vegan, although I guess there is a fear of alienating some customers in a fairly small town. It would be great to see them as a vegan beacon in Dorchester and this part of Dorset!
Pros: All good vegan, Lovely people , Airy space
Cons: Serve dairy with hot drinks

Excellent Find! - Edit
We happened to stumble upon this lovely vegan café whilst visiting the area and were not disappointed! The vegan curry was outstanding and our little one enjoyed his Buddha bowl and fresh milkshake. Our waitress was polite, friendly and very helpful in answering our many questions about the food! Nice relaxed, family-friendly vibe. We’ll certainly be back if we visit the area again!

Super tasty - Edit
Great to find vegan food for lunch that is both tasty and hearty. My jackfruit wrap was a joy as was my wife’s Buddha bowl, and neither of us needed more than a snack later that evening! Lemon drizzle cake perhaps a tad dry but coffee was excellent. We’ll be back!
