Excellent Vibe - Edit
I’ve eaten here at Vibe many many times. They have amazing vegan food. I have even used them to cater a brunch for the wedding guests of my daughter’s wedding. Very friendly staff too.

Everything I’ve tried here is good so far. My favorite is the breakfast burrito. But I love when I’m coming into town. I always stop by.

We are from the Bay Area and come down to this area to regularly vacation. This is our go to spot for all of our meals! This morning, I had the sunrise scramble and it was phenomenal.!!

Had a tasty lunch in this bright little spot. The macro bowl was good, but I think the other bowls would’ve been better. #Veganuary

Thank you Happy Cow for leading me to this place. With no vegan options in San Clemente, I expanded my search to Dana Point. Had not been to Dana Point in at least five years. Met a non-vegan friend there for lunch. He liked it as much as I did.

I’ve been here 5x now.
Read moreThe first time was a pit stop between lunch and dinner. My sister and I shared the macro bowl and the immunity juice. Their bowls are so filling! I’m glad we shared. The macro bowl was perfect: delicious turmeric sauerkraut, decadent roasted butternut squash, sautéed kale, and tahini dressing. I got their bowl on a bed of half greens half quinoa. Really appreciate they allow that as an option. The immunity juice was mostly carrot and orange with an interesting note from the oil of oregano. Very interesting and slightly savory.
The second time I went was also for lunch. Got the mushroom walnut tacos on jicama and the fiesta bowl. The tacos were a very refreshing lighter take on tacos. Definitely want to try their butternut squash tacos next time. Also you get 4 tacos! The fiesta bowl was very comforting with the juicy jackfruit carnitas, pickled onions and black beans. Also got a turmeric shot from checking in (square space? Not sure). Also tried a matcha rose donut. I think they’re baked but they tasted more like banana than anything else so I think I’ll skip dessert next time.
Third time, came back again with a parent to see how the food works on them. Got their butternut squash tacos on the homemade tortillas, majikal chia pudding, chicken n waffles (weekends only), daily green juice, and the beet hummus on sweet potato toast. Someone decided to order a chocolate chocolate cookie at the last second (quite good!) Everyone unanimously liked the tacos best. The green juice was alright, I think I still like the Immunity juice the best. Sadly the chicken n waffles was a bit disappointing. I think there was a bit too much of the roasted veg cashew gravy and the overall texture was a bit soft. It didn’t really evoke chicken n waffle vibes for me. The beet hummus toast was amusing, light, but not memorable. I actually quite liked the chia pudding. Light but flavorful and not too sweet. I’m still having a hard time deciding between the jicama tacos vs the tortillas. I may give the sweet potato roasts another try as well.
We tried the Costa Mesa location but prefer the Dana Point one. We tried the breakfast bowl and taco toasts on their gluten free bread but unfortunately they both fell a little flat. Fireball shot is hot!
Breakfast burrito was great! The Bombay bowl wasn’t as spicy as another reviewer said.
Parking is easy curbside. Lovely chill and large patio.

I have eaten here multiple times for breakfast I have done the breakfast burrito in the mornings , and for lunch y fiesta bowl.
Read moreThe both are so good I cannot get myself to order anything else. I am sure other things are great , but why mess with what works?
About the breakfast burrito - you have the spice and the texture from the walnut chorizo, the avocado chills it out. The the pickled onions rounds it out the check pea firttata that closes the show!
Go with the spicy orange sauce and you can thank me later!

Pricey, but worth it! - Edit
You can’t go wrong with getting the breakfast burrito. It’s super filling (so much so that I can never eat more than half in a sitting) and comes with 2 amazing salsas, a citrusy salsa verde type thing and a fiery orange one that packs a punch.
Read moreI’ve also tried the açaí bowl, fiesta bowl, coco loco, and breakfast buzz smoothie, and all were fantastic. Keep in mind that the breakfast buzz is pretty thick and rich, so if you’re ordering an entree as well you probably won’t finish both.
I did balk slightly at the smoothie prices being $10-12, but it is vegan food/Dana Point pricing, and I appreciate that they’re actually filling. If you order a smoothie and eat there, the staff sometimes gives you the extras from the blender.
Staff is always super friendly, ingredients are fresh, and they don’t skimp on the avocado 🥑😍

Gluten-free cuisine is a bonus these days. Exceptional and vibrant staff. Coolest sounds on the block. Lively ambience on point. My go2 when on the fly. Delicious and creatively prepared bowls. Always a joy here! Sometimes the banana bread can be a bit wet, too much oil or something, try applesauce gently.

Visit long overdue!! - Edit
Visited this location for the first time this afternoon after living nearby for 3.5 years. 10-minute drive from our home in neighboring Dana Point, CA. We drive by it weekly on PCH heading out for our walks of the beaches in this beach side town.

My husband had the Cobb bowl and I settled on the Mediterranean bowl. Meals were well balanced with flavors and great tastes. If they ask you if you want the hot sauce, take it. It adds a nice spice to the already great flavors.
Love the fact that they also have breakfast options that they serve all day long!! It’s the one meal I m not a fan of putting cooking effort into so theirs is perfect when I want a change.
We will definitely be coming back, often!
Pros: Variety of options , Located near the beach , Near home
Cons: Plastic utensils!! 😒

Hubby and I first came for breakfast. I was completely satisfied with mine, but he wished his burrito was bigger for the price.
