Good spicy food - Edit
If you are in the area, go and grab some lunch. The menu sets are great and the price is fair. Water is included. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Great food court find - Edit
Small kiosk tucked away in the ground floor food court of Sarinah Mall within walking distance from the hotels on Jalan Wahid Hasyim. A welcome discovery in amongst all the other meaty stalls!
Read moreThe menu consists of a handful of set menus (all sets include a bottle of mineral water), as well as the option to build-your-own set by choosing 5 items. Mainly Indian food, although Mee Goreng is also on the menu. Food was tasty and affordable with very generous portions (too big for me to finish). Closed on Sundays.
Pros: Affordable, Generous portions, Friendly staff
Cons: Spicy

Great food and service, good price - Edit
Food is fast and full of flavor. Portion size is great. Price is right. Service is also good. Dispite earlier reports, they do use single use plastic utensils. But at the same time providing wood utensils. No idea why. Make sure you tell them you will be using the oversize wood utensils or your own utensils.

Flavourful and healthy - Edit
Really nice Indian Street food style eatery in food mall in shopping centre. There was a small but nice choice of food. The daal was delicious and the dosage I got was gigantic!

not very exciting - Edit
Not really sure what the concept is here (sort of indianised food) but it doesn't work for me.
Read moreThe plastic previously mentioned has been replaced with weird awkwardly shaped wooden platters, spoons and forks.
I wouldn't even agree that its dirt cheap, because to make your meal interesting and filling involves combining a few options some of which were a bit boring.
There's not much else in the area vegetarian wise, so better than nothing I suppose. Would be happier if there a more traditional chinese / indonesian style veg place was to take it's place though.
Pros: better than nothing
Cons: mostly boring food

Very tasty and good value - Edit
Seems all vegan. Great taste, good service and ok prices (it's in a food court after all).
Read moreJust a crying shame about all the single use disposable plastic. Hopefully they can find a suitable sustainable alternative.
Pros: Good choice of tasty food
Cons: Served in plastic with disposable utensils
