Bakery
Operates September to December only, a bakery truck selling Dutch New Year's Eve specialty, olibol. Two kinds olibol (plain and with raisins) and other variations (apple donuts etc). The olibols are vegan but other items are not clear. Owner can tell you which products contain egg.

Surprisingly good - Edit
Tried oliebollen with and without raisins. It was so good and not what I expected. I'm not sure if there are apples in them but something made them very soft and juicy. Not everything is vegan but oliebollen and maybe appelbollen is (not sure, they were sold out).

Vegan oliebollen!! - Edit
I can't remember the last time I ate oliebollen!! Years and years ago!
Read moreLoved them, there are two varieties, with and without raisins, we had one of each.
I was expecting them to be served hot though (like in my childhood memory) but they were cold, so we then took them home with us and ate them that evening. Nice!
Gave them a Happy Cow sticker, hope they put it up!

Oliebalen - Edit
Balen hoor. 2x geweest, 2x zo goed als geen voorraad. Toch was ik ruim op tijd.

Stan & Ollieballen - Edit
What a delightful place. December pop up Ollieballen truck in the centre of Utrecht. Staff confirmed two types of their traditional fried Dutch dough balls are vegan. Lots of balls, lots of people forming orderly queues and that irresistible traditional festive aroma that draws you in. €1 for standard balls and €2 for filled ones. Not sure if the filled ones were vegan though.

Heerlijke oliebollen! - Edit
Lekkere oliebollen, het is moeilijk te weerstaan als je langs de kraam loopt. Vandaar dat ik in november al van m'n eerste oliebol genoot 🤤

Tasty oliebollen - Edit
This is my favorite place to get the typical Dutch december treat oliebollen, sort of fried dough. They are tasty and not too fat and have a good texture.

Prima oliebol - Edit
Prima oliebolletjes! De meeste oliebollenkramen hebben trouwens wel vegan bollen, maar nu hoef je het in elk geval niet te vragen dus is wel lekker makkelijk

Tasty holiday season's treat! - Edit
I was a bit skeptical before trying these.. since they basically sounded like just deep fried plain dough covered in powdered sugar. I finally got to try them out (not warm straight from the truck but from a friend who brought them) and they were actually quite tasty even without the powdered sugar! The dough was chewy and soft while the outside wasn't really greasy as I imagined. Without the powdered sugar the sweetness was just right too but if you like it sweet, go for the extra. Pity that I can't find them all year around.. so till next December! This truck seller knows what vegan is and if you ask them if there's milk or egg, they will ask if you are a vegan.. :)

Pros: Tasty! Tasty!!
Cons: Seasonal
