Lovely! - Edit
Excellent location for tourists and their “swedish meatballs” is lovely too. Even for me as a Swede but even better if you’re a vegan tourist and wanna try a typical Swedish dish

Good meatballs - Edit
The meatballs meal was very tasty. The skagen was also good. The sweet potatoes fries were very crispy.

Very Good - Edit
The burger with fries and meatballs were very good. The fries do not come with a sauce but will be added (as much as you need) if ordered.

Food is okay - Edit
The price is reasonable but the portions are not big. Burger is good. I didn’t really liked the fries. It comes without any toppings or sauce like ketchup or mayonnaise.

Authentic Swedish vegan meatballs! - Edit
It was a very good surprise! The restaurant is in a very touristy area and has a slightly old-fashioned style. As a result, we were a little afraid of falling into a tourist trap. But no, the food is very good, the prices are correct and we spent a while.

Decent bowls - Edit
Like other people writes it’s in the middle of the tourist center, so the prices are quite high. The BBQ bowl I had was acceptable with a little too few of the more expensive ingredients such as sweet potato. My girlfriend had the vegoballs which were also nice, albeit pricy. Overall, if you’re in Gamle Stan and need some vegan food, it’s a decent place to go.

Strange food - Edit
The atmosphere is okay and the service fine, though nothing special. The food all tasted off to us. Lasagne was spicy, a bit undercooked, and contained beans. The meatballs were very very mustardy. The chocolate cake a bit doughy.

Excellent god and service! - Edit
The lunch buffet is great! I also love the à la carte burger, toast scagen and dumplings (although the dumplings could benefit from some soybased sauce).

Expensive (tourist trap) for average quality food, - Edit
This place is located at one of the most expensive areas of Stockholm to rent space so its not that surprising that it is good, and I am sure it is nice for tourists that there is more vegan options there but everything in Old Town should have a base-line of being seen as tourist traps until proven otherwise (and there is some such things), this is not an exception.
Read moreThe burger was ok, the service was slightly below average. The menu is unclear.
This place would not be rated as high as it is in a more vegan evolved town (even if Stockholm has gotten much better then it was 10 years ago)
Pros: A lot or all vegan, Central
Cons: Expensive, Average food

Cosy restaurant with delicious food - Edit
We got the pasta of the day (which was a lasagna) and the Swedish meatball dish, and they were both incredibly tasty! Love that there was such an excellent vegan restaurant in Gamla Stan, while we were out exploring the town.

Really nice :) - Edit
The burger here is really nice, I’d definitely recommend. The veganized traditional Swedish “meatballs” are also good, although not as good as the burger. The salad was just a regular salad, and the (sweet potato) fries were pretty average too. The menu doesn’t have that many options, but it is fully vegan (the wines etc as well).

The interior is a bit lowkey, it’s nothing fancy. I think it’s best described as a mix between a cafe and a restaurant. If you’re looking for something chique, don’t go here. It’s also a tiny bit on the expensive side for the kind of food you get, but nothing crazy, it’s still very affordable.
Overall it was a very nice experience and I’d go here again :)

Tasty affordable vegan food in gamla stan - Edit
We had the vegoballs and the dumplings and both were super tasty on a damp chilly day in Old Town. Compared to other prices it was a friendly vegan option with cheaper than others prices!

Lovely vegan restaurant - Edit
Fully vegan restaurant in the old town, Gamla Stan. My husband had goulash soup and loved it. I chose meatballs and found the taste a little bit meaty. I think more spices and onion flavor are needed for a better taste.

Such a nice place - Edit
We had the edamame as starter, and then the meatballs and the fried dumplings as mains.
Read morePortions were generous (such a big bowl of edamames!), and the food was delicious.
The dumplings could have had a small salad on the side, though.
The service was lovely, the interior is cozy and the location is perfect as there's nothing else fully vegan in this island.
Pros: good food, good mood, good location

Lovely place in old town - Edit
We visited Verte twice, once for lunch and once for evening dinner.
Read moreThe menu is a little limited, but there was enough to satisfy a repeat visit.
The food was excellent, really good quality. The salad bowls were incredible and have made me realise just how much I need to up my game when it comes to preparing veggies!
We also had the meatballs and mash, and chocolate pudding, both of which were fantastic.
Nice venue, good to sit outside and watch the world go by. And the staff were brilliant too, very helpful and friendly.
Pros: Salad bowls, Desserts, Vegan meat balls and mash
