Very expensive - Edit
We learned this place had vegan cheese for its pizzas and so came by. Their personal size pizzas are around US$12, vegan cheese is a US$5 upcharge, and then there's a 10% service charge and 13% tax, making your personal pizza US$22, which is too expensive. For US$15 I can get a falafel plate with salad, potatoes and bread right next door at Le Coq. We did not try the food and left.

Delicious vegan entrees! - Edit
Best meal we’ve had in Playas del Coco. My vegan Pesto Gnocchi was tender, fluffy and flavorful with garlic, basil & olive oil. A large serving that I couldn’t finish — my husband loved it and was happy to do the honors. He had the Strozzapreti Primavera, a homemade pasta loaded with mushrooms, eggplant and zucchini. Outstanding. I haven’t had such a creative dish in a long time. (Sorry—forgot to take a photo) The owner says they can also make a pizza with all kinds of veggies plus vegan cheese. It’s so nice to feel welcome, rather than a “problem” customer needing special food. Bravo!
