Crave- Worthy! - Edit
Amazing meal with lots of grilled veggies in a creamy tomato sauce over a thick chunk of fluffy queso cheese folded into a tortilla. So. Good. And their crafted tea menu is full of surprises!

Healthy vegan options - Edit
Such a nice family-run spot with really lovely service and tons of vegan options. I agree that the food is a little…lightly seasoned but with some salsa on it, it is really light and lovely. Feels like a good hearty meal without the heaviness. Great margs!

Chimichurri in a Hurry - Edit
The dining area is a somewhat rustic space upstairs. I ordered the Chimichurri, which includes herbs, garlic, chili peppers, and olive oil chimichurri over brown rice, garbanzo beans, and veggies. It was flavorful, but not spicy.

I very much dislike doing this but it was not a great experience - Edit
I’m a vegan and I’m Mexican so I grew up with traditional flavors and recipes. What I got at this restaurant was not what I would expect when you put the two together. The food was incredibly bland and lacked flavor. I understand it’s not meant to be traditional Mexican food and it’s a fusion but if you’re going to call something an “Enchilada” or a “Gringa” then it should reflect the food you are labeling it as. The entrees we got looked like vegetables wrapped in a tortilla was a sauce on top but none of it complimented each other. The portions were so small. I could not believe we paid $16 an entree for what I got. Not to mention, half my order was missed so when I showed up to pick it up, it was wrong. When I did get my order, my drink was wrong.
Read moreI hesitated greatly from writing this post because I want nothing more then to support businesses that offer vegan options but this was not it. I felt like I was taken advantage of paying what I paid for my meal and don’t want others to feel the same.
Pros: Vegan options
Cons: Expensive, Bland food, Lacks flavor

Brunch, Lunch and Dinner - Edit
They serve it all and have vegetarian and vegan options. They also buy produce from the local farmers market, which is an added bonus. Ask for salsa, as some dishes need a bit more flavor.

Fresh vegan options without the heavy toppings and sauces - Edit
This restaurant takes the traditional Americanized Mexican fare, and gets rid of the heavy sauces, loads of refried beans, and inches of melted cheese, of course, and instead offers up lots of fresh diced vegetables with delicious seasoning. We didn't leave feeling bloated or coated in grease and salsa.
Read moreAll the fresh vegetables were discernible, cut and diced into large pieces, and sauteed till just cooked but not mushy. We enjoyed a chille relleno stuffed with quinoa and sweet potato; a chliaquila filled with tofu; and chimichurri also filled with tofu chunks and fresh vegetables.
Service was excellent. Kitchen preparation was on the slow side.
Accessibility is an issue: there is limited indoor seating in the bar, if you can manage bar stools and don't mind noise; picnic table seating is outside, but the bulk of the indoor seating is up a flight of steep stairs.
Pros: Vegan options filled with fresh vegetables., A lighter twist on Mexican cuisine, Excellent wait service
Cons: Slow kitchen preparation time, Limited indoor seating, Accessibility can be an issue to upstairs seating

Very inventive, healthy vegan and gluten-free friendly cuisine. Love the vegan nachos. Not cheap, but worth it.

Lots of vegan options, but very bland - Edit
This place is in a really cool little building with a cozy dining room upstairs. We were wowed by the numerous inventive vegan options clearly marked on the menu, like tofu mole! And when the food came out it had a great presentation. Unfortunately, everything was horrifically under-seasoned. It was all just flavorless and really cried out for more salt and spices. Avoid unless you're on a low-sodium diet.
