Ottimo per una pausa pranzo veloce - Edit
Locale molto carino con ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Offre pochi piatti semplici (tre primi, tre secondi, tre contorni) ma molto gustosi. Interessante la possibilità di combinare primo, secondo e contorno (o anche solo secondo e contorno) in un unico piatto a un ottimo prezzo per poter assaggiare più cose. Ci sono sempre una o due opzioni vegane buonissime sia tra i primi che tra i secondi, oltre ad alcuni piatti a base di pesce. Purtroppo non ho provato i dolci ma il personale è molto gentile e disponibile e sicuramente saprà indicare le opzioni adatte a tutte le esigenze. Super consigliato!

It was quite nice to find a restaurant offering vegan options in an area where this is quite rare.
Read moreThey offer a small menu every day, some options of which are vegan (about half of them when we visited, not sure though if that's always the case), the rest vegetarian or containing fish/seafood - a bit of a drawback considering they claim being a purely vegetarian establishment.
We ordered one of the menu options where you can mix and match soup, main course and side dishes as you choose. The food was quite delicious (lots of olive oil generelly does that), as were the fruit juices they also offer.
They don't give the allergens on their menu or label which dishes are vegan which is a bit of a nuisance, so we had to ask the waiter who in term had to go to the kitchen to obtain the info.
We have not been married too long so we sometimes like to talk to one another over dinner, so the loud music playing all the time was a bit of an inconvenience (of course this might change over the years).
Another small drawback we are not used to as Austrians is the cover fee - it seems unfair to charge people just for sitting at a table when all parties are consuming food they are paying for anyways (-1 star).

Trovo rassicurante che a Macerata esista un ristorante vegetariano (che poi non lo è al 100%, ma tralasciamo) e che lo stesso faccia delle pizze eccezionali. Pizza con farina senatore cappelli e lievitazione di 72 ore, inoltre si sente che gli ingredienti per i condimenti sono selezionati con cura. Apprezzo anche la filosofia del ristorante di cercare di evitare al massimo gli sprechi, motivo per cui non avremmo potuto prendere le Chips di carote perché fanno parte di un menù completo ma ce le hanno portate solo quando hanno ricevuto altri ordini. Esperienza positiva, tornerò!

A most pleasant surprise! - Edit
Knowing how veg*-unfriendly Italy (and especially the center) can be, I had prepared for the worst when when I got to Macerata. Against all odds, on the very first evening I found this cozy place offering great dishes, coming in more than generous portions. I got to choose between the whole meal (appetizer, first course, and second course) or the single dish (same food as in the whole meal, but in smaller portions), so I ordered the former with a local beer, and it was great. Plus, prices were more than reasonable, 17€ for the whole package (more or less half of what I would have spent in a regular restaurant for the same quantity of food). I came back two more times during my stay and was not disappointed. What the staff lacked in terms of experience, they compensated with a friendly attitude - and of course good food. Definitely recommended.
