Ordered both vegan tacos, el diferente and furioso, I enjoyed furioso more. I thought everything in the tacos blended well together. The diferente was too soggy when I opened it and I had to eat it with a fork. Also ordered chips, guac, and their vegan queso. Guac and queso were fantastic.

Famous for good reason - Edit
This place seems to come recommended for visitors to Austin and I can see why. The El Diferente tacos were not just amazing but also a new flavor profile for me. I had vegan queso added on top which was delicious but made it super messy. Greasy in a good way!

We sat at a picnic table between The Line hotel and the Hike and Bike Trail to get away from the noise of Congress Ave, but were close to some compressors or something for the hotel that were loud, so not the most pleasant place to sit. The food is messy so there's no way to eat as you walk; I wish there had been a nicer place to sit.
Pros: Truly different as the name of the dish suggests, Vegan queso
Cons: Lack of seating, or I couldn't find it, Loud cars on Congress Ave

Excellent tacos, el differente and furioso are excellent and already vegan. Real food from Mexico. House made fresh corn tortillas and local flour tortillas. Try the agua frescas too.

Both vegan tacos are great. The guac is also excellent. I ate here 2 days in a row on a business trip. Grab lots of napkins!😄

There were two vegan options, the furioso and el diferente. They were fairly large portions but both very messy. The furioso I would give 4/5, the flavor was great but very greasy. The diferente I would give 1/5, it basically tasted like one big potato, but not a well seasoned potato. I didn't feel like finishing it. There's also veggie options and vegan queso.
