Yum food, lots of options - Edit
The food here was yum, and lots of nice options. It was great how they had a separate vegan menu. It would be good if they had some tofu or other protein options, but other than that I was happy!

Nice vegan Filipino food - Edit
Venz is a popular spot in Moalboal. There is a clearly labelled vegan and vegetarian section of the menu which is great! Dishes were good but lacking in flavour and salt and the portion size was on the smaller side.

Nice to have a meal with a variety of fresh vegetables. Drinks can be made vegan by switching the milk for coconut milk such as in the shakes. Extra 25p charge for coconut milk.

I doubt that the staff is knowledgeable about veganism (didn’t really know what dessert to offer)(maybe there were some language issues). But the meal I had from the clearly labeled vegan section in the menu was really delicious!

We went here with a larger group and the restaurant was completely packed. We had to wait for a bit, but everything was very efficient. They have a seperate vegan and vegetarian section in the menu, which was really nice. I had the coconut eggplant and the vegan springrolls and it was super good! The staff was really friendly and the serving was much faster than at other places.

Decent sized meals but rather bland. We had the yellow curry and the eggplant in coconut milk sauce. We thought the food at Hungry Monkey was more flavorsome.

Great that there are vegan options for local dishes. I tried the veg adobo and veg yellow curry, both of which were great. Not too big and good price. Also went for a banana peanut smoothie, which used real peanuts, not peanut butter, and was delicious. Extremely busy at dinner, recommend you get there early.

This is another restaurant that I tried because people on here wrote such good recommendations about it. Unfortunately, I was very unimpressed with the food. I went on two separate occasions and had the yellow curry and another dish with a peanut sauce. The vegetables were the same for both and the only difference was the sauce. Both sauces were not very flavorful.

Some dishes were really good like the yellow curry but others were not so good (I’m so sorry I cannot remember the names of the dishes). Portions were also pretty small. Was nice to have a vegan menu though with a fair amount of options.

Great to be able to have some traditional food and know it’s vegan. Food is really tasty and cheap. There is a vegan page in the menu which is great. Can also get vegan smoothies here (coconut milk rather than cows milk)

We came back here a few times whilst staying in Moalboal! The food is at a good price, and delicious, meaning it gets very busy and people waiting outside for a table! Our fav dish was the eggplant in coconut milk!

Friendly, attentive (although forgetful) staff, good portion & tasty food - really nice to see a vegan menu page & that smoothies can also be made so with coconut milk. However after eating here numerous times I've really noticed there is no protein in any of the vegan dishes & in fact they are all the same with different sauces...
