Serves meat, vegan options available. The vegan dishes are bowls filled with vegetable and grain and sauces. Seems to be the only "hip" young feeling place in Salem which is otherwise a town full of legislators and lawyers. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-8:00pm.

Wow! 5 star - Edit
Wow! So good I forgot to take pictures! Love the vegan options at this place. In an area that it’s exciting if a place has an impossible patty this place has a ton of extremely tasty options to choose from. We got Nachos, curry fries and a Korean bowl. All of them very tasty! We will be back many times.

A 10/10 experience every time - Edit
I have now been to Venti’s twice and had a splendid experience each time. The first visit, I ordered the vegan screaming rooster burger with tots and it was phenomenal(and I’m not typically a burger person). The most recent time I went with my partner and we split the soyrizo urban tacos, the vegan red curry Mac, and an order of the venti’s spicy tots with an added side of the avocado ranch. The tots are a fan favorite here (by looking at the other reviews) and I definitely see why, they are always made to a perfect crisp. The soyrizo urban tacos had my partner and I regretting not ordering the tacos in every version of their vegan protein, they were so good!! The vegan red curry Mac was probably our least favorite item that we got, only because we are total junk food vegans and it felt, to us, bland. We added more salt to the dish and that helped it plenty enough to be enjoyable, however, I do still think the sauce could use a little more of a kick in flavor because I expected a stronger curry or “cheese” flavor and it fell just flat of my expectations. Aside from the sauce, the noodles were cooked to a great consistency and the bread that was paired with the dish was delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for vegans and their vegetarian/omni friend/family/partners. There’s truly something for everyone.

Good - Edit
They had a nice variety of vegan and veggie options. You can put the vegan burger patty on any burger. I had the House Burger with the vegan patty and it was pretty good.

Unexpected 'plant based' fare - Edit
Invited here for a work function not expecting any vegan options but found a cashew 'Mac and cheese' with basil and tomato with a choice of several proteins (I got sesame tofu). It was great! Interesting beer selection too. Also got fries veganized with some kind of poutine. Not bad!

Disappointing nachos - Edit
The cashew cheese on the side made the nachos edible but the upcharge for the tablespoon of soy chorizo and the general absence of stuff on the chips made this feel like a handful of...chips with stuff on top, not nachos. Nachos should be messy and sticky as you mine the pile for the treasured chip with all the stuffs combined. It took a lot of work to get a bean and a chip together all the way into the mouth.

It’s good but no WOW factor - Edit
Food was good. Nothing to write home about. I was happy to have Vegan options at a local cafe with live music as well. Went with some non vegans so then having “regular “ options was a pro for them. I would like to visit their main location with a larger vegan menu. The soup was tasty the pasta “Mac N Cheese” was ok, less flavorful than I expected but the tomatoes and basil were a nice fresh addition.

Venti's Victuals - Edit
I ordered online. It was ready in ~20 minutes, but then I had to wait in line to pick it up. It would be great if they had a separate line to pick up orders. I ordered the Thai peanut wrap. I think the onions overpowered the other ingredients. Also, the sauce was much spicier than I expected, but I do have a low tolerance. The fries were a little soggy. Overall, the meal was okay, but I probably wouldn't get it again.

My favorite! - Edit
Venti’s is my favorite all-around restaurant thanks to the varied and frequently updated vegan options, the atmosphere, the bar, and their newly renovated outdoor seating area. It’s the easiest place to go with non-veg family members and their vegan food has never disappointed me!

Our go-to place when we are in Salem - Edit
We have been here twice and have enjoyed both visits. Call us simple, but the tater tots were just plain amazing. The Korean bowl was also good. Portions are generous, especially the nachos. Ample outdoor seating to physically distance. Friendly waitstaff.

Good stuff - Edit
Very good food, friendly staff made this place a good find in downtown Salem. The Thai bowl and the sweet potato fries were very good. The garlic sesame tofu rice plate's tofu had good flavor but the veggies could have had more. We'd go back though.

We ate lunch at Venti's. Since we had never eaten there before we had a lot of questions about the mention. The person at the register was very patient and actually happy to answer our questions. She even brought me a sample of the soba noodles so I could see if I liked the flavor of the sauce I would be getting.
Read moreWhile not all the options are vegetarian, almost all start as vegetarian entrees and you pay extra to add chicken, fish, etc. Our plates both included a great assortment of vegetables. The food is flavored with actual spices and not salty as one often finds in other restaurants. Our only complaint was the desserts were extrememly unhealthy and heavy. They should at least offer a fruit plate or salad if they don't want to offer a cobbler or crisp. Creme brulee and flourless chocolate torte, while tasty, are simply heart attacks on a plate. They are also laden with calories so don't help their guests easily maintain a healthy weight.
We loved the food, enjoyed the experience, and even discovered they have a separate vegan menu to make it easy for vegan diners to not have to sort through an entire menu. There were many options on that menu, too.
Pros: Tasty food, great variety of vegetables, Food flavored with spieces, not salt
Cons: 2 unhealthy dessert options, no fruit

If anyone is ever in Salem, I highly recommend Venti's Cafe! On top of having a designated gluten free menu and labeling the vegan dishes, they happily check the dish I wanted and sauces for soy and corn! My meal was amazing too! A great mix of brown rice, beans, veggies and fresh spices with sweet chili sauce on top :) I will definitely remember their "happy help attitude" that makes me feel safe eating and tasty food! And of course, any place with kombucha is great in my book!

this place rocks - Edit
There are two locations, one downtown and one on Commercial/Alice. This review is for Commercial/Alice.
Read moreTerrific selection of Vegan options - the menu is broken into Apps, Flatbreads, Sandwiches, Bowls, etc. and each section has at least one (often 2-3) vegan options.
They have TWO vegan burger options.
They have an entire section of vegan/veg bowls.
The vegan flatbread is delicious for an appetizer.
You can add organic + GMO-free tofu to anything for $3.
They have outdoor seating., great if the weather is cooperating.
The beer selection is large.
We are from out of town and usually starve when we visit family up here...so we will be back regularly.

Venti's! - Edit
Venti's is a restaurant in downtown Salem which serves many vegan and veggie options. I like the veggie tofu plate myself with a purple haze beer on the side, it always gets the job done. There is a speakeasy bar downstairs for the folks of age. It is very comfortable with tables and chairs in a dim light, the bartenders are very friendly and the beers are just fine. If you are looking for a place to eat in Salem, this is the place.
Read morePros: Good food., Nice atmosphere., Not too fancy.
Cons: Only one location., Food costs money, which i rarely have., Hipsters love this place.
