I didn't realize they had vegan gelato but stopped by, an d to my surprise, had a terrific dark chocolate scoop. Very authentically Italian atmosphere. Friendly people.

Great vegan Gelato and Italian chocolates - Edit
An accurate version of the popular Venchi chain in Italy. I couldn't tell the difference between the Italian and US chocolate Gelatos. The chocolates are shipped directly from Italy and taste great.

Vegan gelati - Edit
This place is mostly for takeout, but has a few seats and tables, and offers a decent-sized selection of vegan chocolates and gelati, which are prominently labeled and displayed. Although technically a sorbet, the vegan gelato I had (a pistachio gelato) was extremely rich. A bit more pricey than Van Leeuwen's or Armorino's nearby, but I think I bit richer as well.
