Buddha bowls are awesome! - Edit
I had a carrot cake and buddha bowl when I ate here. Buddha bowl was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend this dish with tofu and the satay sauce.

They also do smoothies, milkshakes and all the usual teas and coffees. There’s plenty of seating and accommodated a large group of us with little notice.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area. And finally the staff are super friendly and helpful! Friendly welcoming staff make the place that bit extra special!😄

Tried Vemillion earlier today and I was impressed...i am not easily impressed. Firstly the friendly welcome from staff was spot on. Customer service is not a natural skill that everyone has but they certainly do. After a lengthy deliberation I opted to try the satay tofu stack and the ava go go smoothie with added protein scoop, chia and flaxseed. The tofu stack was amazing and the smoothie was nice too which had a flavour that I've never tasted before. All tasted very fresh with great flavours. I was very tempted with all the selection of cakes too. Seating in and outside. Free parking very nearby.

I would really recommend a trip to Vermillion, it may look a little unassuming as "just" a coffee place with some cake and snacks, but those cakes and snacks are really well done and very very tasty. We tried a cheese and ham toasty, the tofu snack, a couple of cakes and coffee and it was all very delicious, the tofu stack especially.

Recently custom ordered some carrot and walnut cupcakes from here for my birthday, and they were so good that my non-vegan family were singing their praises and asking for more.

We visit about once a month. There are often new dishes added and always different cakes. Today we had avocado and 'feta' on sourdough which was lovely, followed by some cherry pie. My favourites are the Satay tofu stack and the coronation chickn jacket potato. The staff are lovely, too. Plus, free parking!

I had jacket potato with coronation chicken, my partner had satay tofu stack followed by pancakes. We both had smoothies and coffee. All delicious and very quick service. Nice decent portions. So many tasty options it was hard to choose!

I’ve been here quite a few times and I’m not sure why I haven’t left a review yet. This place is bangin! I’ve never had the same thing twice as there is so much to choose from. It’s the perfect distance from home on my way back from a long ride. The prices are very reasonable. The food comes out quickly. They have a loyalty card. The staff are friendly. Not much more to say really! Try it!

Stopped in yesterday for coffee and cake and was really impressed. It started off quiet but lots of customers while we were there. Coffee was gorgeous as were the cakes, great selection of cold drinks and snacks too. Next time I’ll be going for lunch too.

Fantastic range of options, both savoury and sweet. Well chosen menu to attract and include everyone and all tastes. Exciting to see in such a mainstream location - deserves to do very well and I hope will encourage many who wouldn't "normally" head to somewhere vegan. Most of my points will go for daring to open a vegan cafe in a shopping centre. The banana/chocolate cake was really good but coffee not the best but still fine. Lots of cakes to choose from and savoury also.

Vemillion is part of a shopping complex so there are big free car parks nearby. I was breaking a journey along the M3 and can recommend it as a worthwhile detour for vegan food.

There are paintings for sale on the wall and a selection of jewellery and cosmetics.
I opted to sit in and the service was prompt. I’d not been sat long when the smoothie arrived and, shortly after the Buddha bowl. Decent sized portions and a nice varied bowlful.

Vemillion is a great cafe offering lots of yummy vegan lunch options. They also offer a vast array of cakes and sweet treats so come with an empty stomach! The best bit by far are the milkshakes, the biscoff and oreo are simply divine!

First visit to this totally vegan cafe and I really liked the choices on the menu. It was great to see vegan ice cream, milkshakes and a wide variety of drinks on offer as well as some yummy cakes! A modern looking cafe with seating inside and outside, I highly recommend trying this cafe.

The Best Coffee Shop! - Edit
Basingstoke's only 100% vegan coffee shop serves a great selection of cakes, savouries, sandwiches, jackets, protein bars, and even has 'Mr Whippy' style ice cream. They regularly have different cakes in their selection so you're usually in for a surprise with something new on the menu. There is ample seating indoors for large groups, couples, families, or solo visitors, and there is a lovely garden area outside with picnic style benches and tables to watch the world go by (dog bowl included, so your companion animals can join you outside). The staff are super friendly and helpful, and it is conveniently located in Chineham shopping centre, which means free parking whilst you enjoy your food and drink. Alternatively, there is a regular bus service from the town centre.
