Cauliflower taco - Edit
Their beer batter cauliflower taco is tasty, but to me was too spicy and it wasn’t advertised on the menu to be hot at all.
Read moreElse tasy, with many different textures and flavours to it! Good vegan option if you like spicy food.

Perfect spot to stop if you're a vegetarian looking to grab some food with your carnivorous friends. Tacos were delicious! I got the Nashville tofu and the cauliflower tacos :)

Good tacos, for vegetarians - Edit
Don't misread the menus "v" for vegan like I did... great vegetarian options and can be altered to be vegan but wasn't overall worth it to me.

so boring - Edit
so boring. one vegan option which was a falafel taco in a lettuce wrap. quite embarrassing really. not very flavourful and a quite frankly desperate vegan option. wouldn’t come again

Nothing special - Edit
I got the falafel taco, it comes in a lettuce wrap which surprised me. Tasted nice but not filling at all, definitely not worth the cost. I think with tax it was like $12 for two.

Okay tacos - Edit
We got the 4 tacos they have that can be made vegan. In a city like Austin with so many great taquerias, Velvet Taco just doesn't make the cut.
Read moreThey also didn't have any special sauces, which is always a red flag.

Make it vegan! - Edit
Here is how I was told to make the vegetarian tacos vegan: swap the flour tortilla for corn, order no cheese or crema, and order no vinaigrette if you’re ordering the Buffalo taco (it has honey). Even with the swaps, the tacos with delicious! The falafel taco (comes in a lettuce wrap and is vegan without mods) and the buffalo taco were the best and the cauliflower was a close second.
