The food was very tasty. I ordered the Vegöner and my girlfriend the avocado burger, both excellent choices. We ordered some fries on the side and we ended up bellies full. The staff was very friendly, we would definitely return if we are in Nuremberg again.

Best Vegan Fast Food in Nuremberg - Edit
Visited Vegöner while staying in Nuremberg, it was that good that we decided to come back the next day before leaving! Would definitely recommend. The menu has a large variety of kebabs, burgers and hot dogs as well as hot drinks. Very reasonably priced and the staff were great and English speaking.

If you ever go to Numerberg, Vegoner is a must for vegan junk food. They have burgers, but I highly recommend the Vegoner. It's donor made in a crispy pita, coleslaw, and herbed yogurt sauce. The vegan "meat" is phenomenal and I usually don't gravitate towards vegan meat options. The fries were yummy too, but the portion of the Vegoner is so big you don't really need to order a side. The staff were super friendly, and one of them even gave us a free cookie when we talked about visiting from Canada.

This is a small fast food place. The weather was nice when I visited so I sat on their outside tables. The manager (or perhaps owner) was friendly. I was surprised that, after I ordered, he asked me if I was aware that the burgers were not "real meat." I assured him that that was the reason I had arrived at his restaurant.

This is a no-frills place and the food is very cheap. I was only hungry enough for the basic Vegöner gyros and this was good size for €4. The ‘meat’ was reasonably convincing, with flavour and just the hint of oiliness/greasiness to make it nice. The yoghurt sauce unfortunately didn’t have a great deal of flavour or creamy texture.

This wasn't the best vegan doner I've had, but it was decent and is still worth a visit. I found the mock meat quite under seasoned, and the salad:meat ratio was a bit too salad heavy was my liking (or maybe it was just poor distribution). Still, it was hearty and filling, and the staff were friendly. It's absolutely boiling inside on a hot day, so be prepared to sit outside with the smokers or get a takeaway.

Read moreJust like a classic doner take away you simply order at the counter and your food arrives minutes later. There a few tables you can sit at inside or you can take your food away. The staff are extremely friendly and although the I didn’t get to try the desserts I will definitely be back for more! :)

in den Räumen der ehemaligen Metzgerei Fleischmann hat der Wandel zum friedlicheren Essen statt gefunden. Hier wird neben leckeren Fast food auch mindestens ein Tagesgericht serviert. der Schwerpunkt liegt aber klar auf dem Döner (vom spieß!) auf Sojabasis.
