Great vegan choices - Edit
About half the menu with sets seemed to be vegan. Tasty, good portions and original flavors. One woman is cooking and there is a man helping to run. Both were nice and helpful with English and saying what was vegan. The place is rather small, so there might not be place to sit. I went on a weekday during lunch and was able to sit no problem.

No mock meat cosiness - Edit
It's a small cosy shop with a few tables. They've got a very nice presentation of the dishes and real plant based food (no mock meat) with vegan options and vegan substitutes. The staff you able to see is just one person who's very nice and friendly. The price and food taste not entirely to my liking.

Good fresh food - Edit
Tiny outlet, chances are you won't get a seat. Friendly service, English spoken. Can substitute cheese for vegan cheese (Sheeze), that you can also buy there. The lavash wraps are tasty, made fresh but tend to fall apart due to the thin bread. Would go back.

Cozy Western-style bistro - Edit
There're many good things to say about Veggie Spinner:
Read moreFriendly, homy atmosphere.
Unlike many other places they don't serve mock meat, instead there're many burgers on the menu, pasta dishes and tacos.
Many dishes contain avocado (good!) and mushrooms (very good!).
Portions are fairly big. Taste also good (well flavoured).
Staff speaks sufficient English, they're also aware of veganism.
Overall good value.
There're some downsides too though:
The place isn't very clean. I'm talking about the floor, the display, the toilet (filthy) - you don't need much imagination to picture the kitchen being similar. Point is, the first time I was there, in 2016, it looked exactly the same. I think it would be really beneficial if they close for one day to tidy up thoroughly.
At peak times (lunch) it can become really crowded. After all it's a small place.
Now, I had the impression that my dish (vegan) was fried in the same pan as my friend's dish (with egg) - but I'm not sure and quite possible I'm mistaken. I just want to mention it, since it has been pointed out before, that they weren't so definitive about vegan and non-vegan dishes.
In my opinion some small changes would make Veggie Spinner much more attractive. I hope they put a bit more effort in their restaurant, because I like this place.

Nice little place! - Edit
Was happy to come here and find some good food! Big portions (for hk) and hearty food, had the burger and the fried pasta. I'd go for pasta in sauce next time, but it was still not bad. Burger was tasty.

Not great - Edit
We were very pleased to find this place in Hong Kong. I do want to give an honest review for other vegans. The juices were delicious. We found the burgers to be very poor - raw slabs of tofu. The wedges were rancid tasting. The pasta was a little better.

No fake meat here - Edit
So many vegetarian places in Hong Kong are full of fake meat that may appeal to an omnivore but if not so appetizing if you don’t like the look, taste, or consistency of meat. This small place is different. Yummy real vegetarian food, with a surprising variety of choices given the small size of the shop.

Cute vegetarian restaurant in Causeway Bay! - Edit
We stumbled upon Veggie Spinner because we were staying in the Metropark hotel next door. Great menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! We really enjoyed the creative menu and would definitely go back again. Also interesting juices on the menu, worth trying! They do take-aways too.

Great place for healthy vegetarian meal - Edit
Food in Hong Kong tend to be flavorful and laiden with MSG in general. This little gem is a great place to taste the natural flavor of the food itself and feel healthy again. Love it!!

My favourite spot - Edit
Their salad was very yummy which amazed me every time. They put seasonal stuffs in their daily mix of salad so created very fresh salad - Not those watery salad. They served vegan foods and you can ask them to tailor made a vegan dish for you. That's why I love it - the owners and staffs are very friendly and you only have to tell them your dietary requirements and they could make your own dish for you. Their juices and smoothies are also very nice. The risotto, all day breakfast, soup all are very nice. This restri definitely won my heart

Small cosy western style cafe - Edit
I've been here for lunch and dinner a few times and enjoyed the food. It tastes fairly healthy and fresh.
Read moreThe last time I went, we tried a veggie burger - it's comprised of nicely textured tofu and grilled vegetables. As I am vegan, they used Sheeze (vegan cheese) on top. We had the combination which came with some potato wedges (nice, not deep fried) and a small salad. Lovely meal.
We also had the green spaghetti combo - spaghetti with mushrooms, veggies and pine nuts (this was average); a broccoli, pea and porcini soup (I really like this); grilled pineapple (yummy!); small chef salad (lovely with fresh fruits); and small fresh juice. We also got the chocolate smoothie (made with cacao, walnuts, coconut oil, banana and soymilk) - really good.
Overall, I was happy and would return. They have some good deals on takeaway. It's quite small and informal though and the seating doesn't have backs (bench/stool style).
Pros: Good combinations, Healthy, Friendly service
Cons: Small and informal, Seating doesn't have backs

No flavour - Edit
Ordered two wraps for brunch with the drink combo. Drinks were nice but not cold. Would have been better blended with ice.
Read moreThe wraps were grilled despite the fact that they contained chilled salad. We found this a bit strange. The tortilla was also crispy rather than the usual soft. When we started eating the wrap it kind of shattered and ended up a real mess.
Not recommended. Sorry.
Pros: Quaint
Cons: Expensive, Flavour, Crunchy wraps

Cute Lunch time Joint - Edit
It's a cute, quaint joint with limited seating but makes a nice little spot for grabbing some lunch. It's mostly western, healthy options which makes a nice change from all the local fried stuff, just a shame they use cheese and eggs although these can be avoided easily. Go for the lavish roll set which is great value you get the burrito style wraps, little salad, fresh juice and small soup all for 115 HKD. Service is prompt and the owners are sweet. You can also buy some groceries including fresh fruit and veg and even vegan cheese.

Good food - Edit
It's a cute shop, very small and personal. I was here in October of 2016. The food was nice, but nothing super special, and the portions were a bit small for the price. I'd eat again if I was in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way.

Excellent ! - Edit
I took a set made of some pasta and mushrooms, salad (two different once), pumpkin soup and guava-lemon juice.
Read moreSome friends took some wraps, spaghetti and tomato sauce or (big) tofu burger.
All look delicious and mine was very tasty.
The service is a bit slow due to the fact that - it seems - only one person works there and prepare everything when you order it, it was worth it.
Prices are much higher than many cheap places (count around 100 - 150HKD) but the food is really amazing.
If it was a vegan place, I would give it 5 stars.
Pros: Savoury, Big portion, Interesting menu

Veggie Spinner, Hong Kong - Edit
I used to like this place. A reliable source though has told me a worrying story about them serving lacto cheese in supposedly vegan food. I've asked management who acknowledge this was a mistake. I'm dropping my rating for the time from 4 to 3 stars. I may review that in future.

SMALL SHOP GOOD FOOD - Edit
I live near Tin Hau/Tai Hang so I pass by the place almost everyday. It's small but rather cosy and I saw they were doing a super deal on LOCACLICK app (free soup when u spend HKD100) so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try them out :) I was not disappointed. The food is fresh, the owner is a fun lady and it's always good when you know you're supporting small local businesses!
