Good food for Suva - Edit
They have a lot of vegan options. Everything else is veggie. Basically only menu items with cheese are not vegan. Western food options taste really good!! We had the gnocchi with pesto and a Pizza. Pizza was soo good!! Honestly for this part of the world really good Italian food. But to be fair would change the rating if I would've eaten this in Italy 😀

get the black fungus! - Edit
Delicious and fresh. Feels like a veggie oasis!! We really enjoyed everything we ate and it was particularly good after struggling to find good vegan food for a while in fiji. The black fungus was so good (and really spicy so beware), tempeh burger was also good and we ordered a salad which was refreshing. A bit hard to spot from the road, we walked past it at first because the signage is a bit high and not obvious from the sidewalk. Definitely would come back if we’re in Suva again!

Cons: A bit hard to find and out of the way, Expensive for Fiji

I'm going back again! - Edit
It's hard to rate this restaurant any less than 5 starts! The other reviews are spot on. The place is run by an Asian family and the menu is extensive in both Asian dishes (noodles, fried rice, etc) and Western. I tried the fake fish fried rice - so good. Ice coffee and mango smoothie were good too. So much more to try on the menu, I'll be back! Super friendly staff is a bonus.

A hidden gem - Edit
Whilst not located in the immediate city centre, this is well worth the visit. The food was absolutely delicious. Go for the delicious mapo tofu but stay for the outrageously good homemade vegan pistachio ice cream. Juices were also great. A real delight.

Seriously delicious - Edit
Described to me (by a meat eater!) as the best food in Suva. I don’t think they’re wrong. Everything was incredibly delicious, beautifully presented, friendly staff and quick service. Pretty extensive menu. All vegan except they do use dairy cheese eg on the pizza. We only had vegan dishes but I’m sure they would accomodate to make dairy dishes vegan on request. Restaurant is fairly small so not heaps of seating especially for big groups. Pricing is a bit on the higher end but pretty similar to other places in Suva (with much better food). Definitely a must go for anyone plant based!

The Best Vegan Food in Suva, maybe in Fiji - Edit
Words cannot explain how great this restaurant is. The food here is spectacular, it's mind boggling how delicious it is. They offer a wide range of options including asian, pizza's, pasta's, salads and burgers. The entire menu is vegan except for their pizza's which are vegetarian.
Read moreThe restaurant also changes their menu seasonally, and offers special limited time menu items from time to time. The staff really know their flavours, and if you are some one who likes spicy food they can also cater for you.
Menu faves include: the dumplings, spicy jelly fungus, the Tempeh burger, mixed spicy mushroom and the gnocchi.
Veggie Restaurant is the only place in Suva you can get Tempeh as well.
By eating here, you are also supporting a small family run business, and all the food is made with the utmost care.
Top tip: to beat the lines, or wait times pre-order over the phone or get your foot takeaway.

Fresh, delicious Asian vegan delicacies - Edit
This place is an oasis in the vegan desert of Suva. I have eaten here with friends and my young family and there is something for everyone. We all love the blueberry smoothies and I love the mushroom burger, dumplings and sizzling tofu. Some language issues with waitstaff but service is generally good. It's nice to be able to eat out in Suva and always have something to enjoy from the menu.

Gorgeous cafe! - Edit
Really love this gorgeous cafe! This was my second visit here. The first visit I ordered a takeaway spicy eggplant quesadilla which was so tasty and fresh. Second visit I brought my daughter for lunch who is vegan too. We both had the tofu burgers which were delicious!! The accompanying salads and seasonings are so fresh and tasty. I noticed they have their homemade mayo for sale too which I will purchase soon as it was delicious too. Had a very refreshing carrot, lemon and apple juice which I will order again. Large servings so pricing is reasonable. Will definitely go back more often.
