One Pho the Memories - Edit
What a fantastic place. All of the staff is very kind and helpful, the food was delicious, the taste was as authentic as I could have hoped for. If you’re a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, I cannot recommend this place enough.

a small gem - Edit
I'm fairly new to plant based eating and have been struggling to find acceptable take out. This little gem is 2 blocks from me. Went there for the first time today and fell in love. The food was great. The staff was great.

great! - Edit
I came here to grab lunch for myself before heading into work and ordered the “hainan chicken”. For only $8.75 I can say that the portions were more than generous. Like many SGV Asian restaurants, there is a $20 minimum in order to use card so I highly recommend bringing some cash if you plan on eating here since everything is pretty inexpensive.
Read moreThe food itself was good, except I wasn’t a big fan of the sauce that came with the hainan chicken dish. The smell and taste of ginger was so strong that it made the dish less enjoyable because of that.
They prepared my food in less than 10 min after I ordered so they were quick, but then again I came right when it opened so that might be why. The parking lot is kind of small for that plaza but shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
I’ll probably be back to try their other dishes! You can’t go wrong with cheap vegan Vietnamese food ☺️
Pros: cheap Vietnamese vegan food
Cons: can’t turn left into parking lot, small parking lot

Good Tasting Food - Edit
The food here was delicious and there was a lot to choose from. I agree with the other reviews when they said they speak little English. I would visit here again if I'm in the area.

Best bowl of noodles EVER! - Edit
This place is fantastic! Very clean inside with lots of tables. I suggest the noodle soup dishes if you miss PHO or soups. I think these are Chinese people from Vietnam and every time I go there are many Asians there so the cuisine is pretty authentic. I ordered the Curry soup the first time I went and the 2 noodle combination soup the last time. Big bowl and good price. The in-house menu has pictures so you can just point anywhere and find something good. Last time I went they were prepping the stuffed bitter melon soup and it looked so good, but I already ordered. Service is good and friendly though there was a language barrier when I asked what was in the banana leaf tamale...but I knew it was vegan and bought it anyway and it was amazing. Sad I didn't find this place earlier.

Decent - Edit
After skimming through other reviews, I'd like to point out that this was my second time here and my family that lives in the area visits somewhat regularly. I was in LA visiting family and this place has awesome Bi Rolls - sorry, the exact Vietnamese name escapes me at the moment. I haven't tried anything else other than the soft (but cooked rolls) with the filling inside and the aforementioned Bi rolls... I prefer my mom's soft cooked ones, though.
Read moreSure, the place isn't the cleanest and yes, the people there don't seem to know too much English. However, because it's just one of those Asian places that has its own regulars, I didn't expect American service. I expected service from one of those run down places in Asia. Basically, everything is largely self-helped. You go in and if you're lucky, someone is there to ask how many and they'll gesture at a suitable table. Then they'll drop some menus on said table and leave you at it after asking what you'd like to drink.
If you're expecting service you would find at a nice, sit-down restaurant, this is not it. I personally found the service to be lacking, especially when she practically tossed the menus on the table, but I didn't come for the service, I came for my vegetarian Vietnamese food fix.
Our server/waitress is bilingual in Vietnamese and Cantonese and once she found out my table knew both languages, she switched between the two fluidly.
I used to work as a waitress and I cannot find the "good" in their lack of decent service, however... food wins over. I give them a 3.3... but that rounds down to a 3.
Pros: Bi Rolls
Cons: Bad service, Could be cleaner

I tried it.... - Edit
Against the previous reviewers I went there a couple months back. I figured that the rude employs were just a cultural thing....
Read moreI was kind of right. They warmed up to me after a bit of chatting with them. The place wasn't too bad. some tables needed to be picked up but no real mess at the time I went there.
The food I ordered to go as I was on my way out of town..... WOW it was really good.
On my return back into town I was craving it again. Caught in traffic I pulled off and drove right back there.
As I walk in the door I notice an employee with a deli slicer at the way back of the customer seating area slicing something. "Prep work in the dining area"
My first reaction was to walk right out. Half way back to my car I remembered the great teats of the curry and pho beef stew and I turned right back around to give them another chance. As I started to reopen the front door I big letter "C" just about smacked my in the face.
I couldn't get back to my car fast enough feeling shame and discus that I had eaten there just days before.
Hope they can clean up the place because I sure did enjoy it, knowing the health standards that they keep I shall not return till they make it to an "A"
Willing to accept that day may never come.
Pros: um , um , um
Cons: health standard
