Delicious Busy Small Restaurant - Edit
This place is packed every time I go. Definitely make a reservation. The service is fast to move the tables, but the food is delicious. I like the lunch dim sum better than the diner food.

Make sure to reserve a table, we asked our hotel to call them. Pork BBQ was amazing! The curry in casserole was good but not special. Staff was nice👌dishes rather expensive.

Venue is great, relaxed, friendly. We failed to make reservations, but they were accommodating and helped squeeze us in. (I recommend making a reservation.)

A MUST When in HK - Edit
Absolutely one of the best meals we had in HK. Everything is vegan, prices are very reasonable, and you know it’s good when you need a reservation and when the restaurant is filled with locals. Different menus for lunch (more dim sum style) and dinner (noodles, rice, etc). We first came for dinner and loved it so much we came back another day for lunch. Loved that we got to try veganized versions of local food (siu mai, bbq “pork” buns, lotus buns, xiao long bao). This is definitely not to be missed when in Hong Kong, so make a reservation!

Delicious Chinese restaurant - Edit
This is a fairly small and popular restaurant, so advance booking is required.
Read moreLunchtime dim sum menu is excellent. We ordered 7 dishes between 3 of us, and it was more than enough. Our favourites were the Dan dan noodle soup, the green vegetable dumplings, and the truffle mushroom dumplings. Also enjoyed the rice rolls.
We went for dinner and had the following dishes from the a la carte menu, which was a good varied meal for two (just over HKD500):
- BBQ “pork” - char siu style, tender, tasty and little sweet!
- Sichuan wok fried frozen tofu with steamed rice - spicy numbing mala taste, tofu has spongey texture and absorbs sauce well, wish this dish was a little larger though
- Long beans with minced veggie meat - seriously delicious!! Excellent dish
- Sichuan style dan dan noodles - perhaps could be more peanutty but nice dish
Some dishes pricier than others. Very keen to go back to try the higher priced items in a group (veggie fish fillet in Sichuan soup and fungus casserole).

Most Amazing Mushrooms of my Life!!! - Edit
Wow this meal was incredible. I’m so glad I took the walk to get there from my hotel. I went for lunch bc I read how that’s when they offer the dim sum menu, and wow was it good. The place was packed so I’m lucky I even got a seat! I ended up ordering delivery a few days later bc it was that delicious. I hope I get sent to Hong Kong again for work soon bc I would love to eat here again!!

Delicious vegan Cantonese food - Edit
This place veganizes Cantonese food & the flavours are really interesting. The dandan noodles & the fried ‘goose’ were both delicious. Worth booking a table a few days in advance as it’s really popular. Note that the dim sum is only served during lunch (I’ll have to come back to try it!)

Went there on our first evening in HK. Unfortunately it was already full and booked out the whole evening, so we booked a table for the next day (would recommend that)

Cockroach in Food - Edit
There was a cockroach in my mapo Tofu. Staff replaced the meal but still made us pay full price. Tells a story about kitchen hygiene. Wouldn't go there again.

My favourite restaurant - Edit
Most dishes tasted great. I went there twice in a week, once for dinner and once for lunch. My favourites included the crispy duck pancake, Zhenjiang bone and fried rice. Dim sum such as shrimp dumplings, siu mai, salt water samosas, BBQ pork rice noodles rolls, spring rolls were all delicious. Staff confirmed that all food items were vegan and the BBQ pork sauce contained maltose (no honey). The only thing I did not like were steamed buns with veggie shark fins in soup. I found the bun skin to be too thick and the taste too bland.

Vegan dimsum available - Edit
Traditional yummy dimsum. But please make reservation before going down. We tried to walk in on Saturday and nearly got rejected. I was like “please, we came from overseas and really love to try this. And we promised to eat within half an hour…” then they let us in. And we really have to finish up fast for these 😂 We ordered ~10 items and cost ~450 HKD (inclusive of 10% service charge)
