Delicious Busy Small Restaurant

This place is packed every time I go. Definitely make a reservation. The service is fast to move the tables, but the food is delicious. I like the lunch dim sum better than the diner food.

Pros: Best vegan dim sum I’ve had, Fast service, Convenient location

Cons: Packed, need reservation usually

Delicious dim sum!

So excited to find a vegan dim sum place. Scant English spoken but definitely enough; English menu. Really great tastes. On the 7th floor.

Pros: All vegan dim sum

Cons: A bit pricey , Hard to book a reservation - phone always busy

Sooooo good 👍

The place isn’t big so you definitely should reserve before going! We popped without a reservation and they were OK to let us stay for 20min only.
The staff was really rude tho 🥲

However, the food is so delicious 🤤 especially the rice noodle roll BBQ

Make a reservation!

Make sure to reserve a table, we asked our hotel to call them. Pork BBQ was amazing! The curry in casserole was good but not special. Staff was nice👌dishes rather expensive.
I forgot to ask, but it seems like there are no dimsums in the evening (not sure though!)

It’s hard to give a fair review to them when they refused service to me.

Fantastic food--the highlight of our HK trip. We had to return for a second time, including takeout!

Venue is great, relaxed, friendly. We failed to make reservations, but they were accommodating and helped squeeze us in. (I recommend making a reservation.)

Lots of tasty food, including fried eggplant, mapo tofu, tantanmen. It was all very well done.

Pros: Excellent food, Friendly staff, Convenient location

Cons: A bit on the pricy side, but not unreasonable

Just next to the apple shop

Obviously I should have made an appointment before I went there. Luckily I didn’t wait long to get a seat. Interesting food, a bit pricey… but it’s good to have this option

Pros: Nice location , Local cuisine

Cons: Not many choices for one person , Too late for dim sum

A MUST When in HK

Absolutely one of the best meals we had in HK. Everything is vegan, prices are very reasonable, and you know it’s good when you need a reservation and when the restaurant is filled with locals. Different menus for lunch (more dim sum style) and dinner (noodles, rice, etc). We first came for dinner and loved it so much we came back another day for lunch. Loved that we got to try veganized versions of local food (siu mai, bbq “pork” buns, lotus buns, xiao long bao). This is definitely not to be missed when in Hong Kong, so make a reservation!

Delicious Chinese restaurant

This is a fairly small and popular restaurant, so advance booking is required.

Lunchtime dim sum menu is excellent. We ordered 7 dishes between 3 of us, and it was more than enough. Our favourites were the Dan dan noodle soup, the green vegetable dumplings, and the truffle mushroom dumplings. Also enjoyed the rice rolls.

We went for dinner and had the following dishes from the a la carte menu, which was a good varied meal for two (just over HKD500):
- BBQ “pork” - char siu style, tender, tasty and little sweet!
- Sichuan wok fried frozen tofu with steamed rice - spicy numbing mala taste, tofu has spongey texture and absorbs sauce well, wish this dish was a little larger though
- Long beans with minced veggie meat - seriously delicious!! Excellent dish
- Sichuan style dan dan noodles - perhaps could be more peanutty but nice dish

Some dishes pricier than others. Very keen to go back to try the higher priced items in a group (veggie fish fillet in Sichuan soup and fungus casserole).

Most Amazing Mushrooms of my Life!!!

Wow this meal was incredible. I’m so glad I took the walk to get there from my hotel. I went for lunch bc I read how that’s when they offer the dim sum menu, and wow was it good. The place was packed so I’m lucky I even got a seat! I ended up ordering delivery a few days later bc it was that delicious. I hope I get sent to Hong Kong again for work soon bc I would love to eat here again!!

Delicious vegan Cantonese food

This place veganizes Cantonese food & the flavours are really interesting. The dandan noodles & the fried ‘goose’ were both delicious. Worth booking a table a few days in advance as it’s really popular. Note that the dim sum is only served during lunch (I’ll have to come back to try it!)

Great veggie dimsum

They serve traditional dim sum but without the meat or dairy. Everything was delicious! I especially liked the salt and pepper tofu.

Delicious Chinese food!

Went there on our first evening in HK. Unfortunately it was already full and booked out the whole evening, so we booked a table for the next day (would recommend that)
What we got was completely tasty. We ordered two appetizers and two main courses, which we shared. Veggie BBQ pork, Beijing Duck with little steamed buns (too good!), Szechuan Mapo Tofu and the Singaporean Noodles. Would order all again!

Pros: Nice and Helpful staff , The food!, Atmosphere

Cockroach in Food

There was a cockroach in my mapo Tofu. Staff replaced the meal but still made us pay full price. Tells a story about kitchen hygiene. Wouldn't go there again.

The portions of the noodles and stuff are big and the food is tasty, very oily tho. It's still low key expensive. Staff isn't very nice.

Oh, they only offer dim sum during lunch. Tea is offered by default but costs extra.

My favourite restaurant

Most dishes tasted great. I went there twice in a week, once for dinner and once for lunch. My favourites included the crispy duck pancake, Zhenjiang bone and fried rice. Dim sum such as shrimp dumplings, siu mai, salt water samosas, BBQ pork rice noodles rolls, spring rolls were all delicious. Staff confirmed that all food items were vegan and the BBQ pork sauce contained maltose (no honey). The only thing I did not like were steamed buns with veggie shark fins in soup. I found the bun skin to be too thick and the taste too bland.

Vegan dimsum available

Traditional yummy dimsum. But please make reservation before going down. We tried to walk in on Saturday and nearly got rejected. I was like “please, we came from overseas and really love to try this. And we promised to eat within half an hour…” then they let us in. And we really have to finish up fast for these 😂 We ordered ~10 items and cost ~450 HKD (inclusive of 10% service charge)

Pros: Traditional dimsum

Cons: Noisy as pretty full house on weekends

Great vegan Chinese cuisine

A great place that offers a wide range of dishes. Setting is cozy and casual. Tried several dishes and would recommend them all. The place can get pretty busy. A reservation is recommended, though not always necessary.

Best dim sum in hong kong

During our five day stay in hong kong, we visited Veggie Kingdom twice. Once to try their regular menu and of course the dim
sum! Most of the things we got were really delicious and this ended up being our favorite restaurant during our trip.

Just did not enjoy the noodles since it was lacking in flavor but that’s about it.

Pros: Lots of options, Delicious food, Big servings

Cons: Pricey
