Took my friend there, friend said it’s truly a veggie heaven 😆😆😆 they even have the rare Asian vegetables that I haven’t had for a really long time😄the bi chi and dos, they totally reminds me of my grandma 👵🥰🥰🥰 and I see real deers on the way driving there so lovely :)

So my husband and I are new vegan converts, Lol. We’ve been trying different locations and have been disappointed in quite a few. The thought of having to give up Chinese food was absolutely heart wrenching because as a Peruvian woman, I love my Asian food! Lollllll. This place is a GOD SEND!! The Lord strategically placed this restaurant here for me. When we went, we literally wanted to order everything. We ordered General Tso Chicken, Chicken & Broccoli, Carrot cake, cheesecake, and taro bubble tea. Everything was delicious. My husband couldn’t care less about Chinese food like me, but he ate every bite of his plate. My toddlers loved the “chicken”, they kept grabbing my plate for more. Lollllll. I have a 1 year old and a 2 year old and both of them ate until their hearts and tummies were satisfied. The cheesecake is better when it’s been in the fridge, leave it out for too long it’ll melt. The carrot cake was a bit dense, but somehow melted in my mouth. I would definitely put more of the icing on it tho. The Taro tea was a tease trip to heaven, I should’ve ordered a bigger cup. Lolllll. In all, this is a stapled restaurant for us and we’ll be coming back again and again.

Ordered food on the phone for pick up an hour before they closed. Customer service was ON POINT, person who answered helped us order (we had never been and didn’t have time to look at menu b/c we were driving) and was super patient with us.

Food was delicious, still warm by the time we got home (about a 30 min drive) and overall satisfying.

Veggie Heaven is SUCH a gem. The menu is beyond extensive (it was impossible to pick what we wanted to try), and everything was delicious!! Creative offerings using a variety of mock meats and tofu, plus bubble teas and desserts galore. Our waiter was so friendly & funny as well. Very COVID-attentive. We felt safe the full experience.

I was visting a friend for almost 2 days and he was telling me about this awesome place. I ate here 2 days in a row, love this place and I need to go back there.

I came here solo on a visit from out of town and was impressed by the extensive menu, fast service, and friendly staff. I ordered the house special veggie "chicken" on the server's recommendation. The veggie chicken was well seasoned and the sauteed vegetables were fresh and crisp. It was plenty of food, but my sweet tooth wouldn't let me leave without dessert and the green tea cake was very nice: good green tea flavor and a soft, moist cake.

Veggie Heaven is a landmark. Always vegan, always delicious. Basically it’s a full standard Chinese restaurant, but you can point to anything on the menu and it’s vegan. Staff is super friendly and the food is always good. Food comes out quick and the menu is huge. I’ve taken many non vegans here and they all enjoyed it. Absolutely recommend. Been going here since the 90s and they never disappoint.

Great Place in Upper Montclair - Edit
Veggie heaven is an all vegan Asian inspired restaurant. Located in a quaint part of Montclair they have been a vegan staple for many years. I’ve been coming to Veggie Heaven since it’s inception in the early 90’s. Now with 3 NJ locations Montclair is my go to one. Lots of seitan, great noodle soup, and bomber appetizers. Veggie Ribs is amazing. General Tso’s chicken Is a crowd favorite. Ask for Cliff and tell him the Vegan Cowboy sent you.

As weird as this sounds my favorite is the constant refilling of water. I love my water so this excellent to me!
