We were traveling home when we looked on the happy cow app for spots along our route. Always happy to find all vegan places.
Grabbed three slices of "cheese cake" to take with us. Wished I would have bought more.
Pros: An extensive All vegan menu, Desserts , Yummy drumsticks!

Good - Edit
I consistently hated the food at the Teaneck location but this location the food wasnāt bad. The avocado sushi wasnāt good, worse than from the omni restaurant I usually buy from. I am not obsessed with any of the dishes but I would eat here again.

Asian Good - Edit
Stopped by for a quick lunch on my way through the area. Nice restaurant in an interesting town. Service was quick, food was great. I had a spring-roll followed by tofu with mushrooms and some chowfoon noodles. I hope I can pass by again to try more on this menu.

Delicious and authentic - Edit
The menu looks like a typical Chinese American takeout place but with faux meats like beef, pork, shrimp, and more. Meat substitutes are made with blends of bean curd, taro root, wheat gluten, soy protein, and more.
Read moreWe were given iced water and pickled cabbage as soon as we were seated. I'm not sure if the cabbage was an appetizer or a palate cleanser, but we finished it before any food came and would have loved more of it.
There are many options, so the first we chose was the house special pan-fried noodles. It was a great mix of mock beef, pork, and shrimp with veggies and delicious sauce over crispy fried noodles that get tender as they sit and soak in the flavors. The seitan meats had savory and distinct flavors.
The 'Sushi Regular' combo satisfied a craving that's been daunting for years in lieu of vegan options as it included California rolls and sushi with faux shrimp, salmon (made from marinated and fried yam), and eel (an unfamiliar 'meat' but delicious faux fish).
There are plenty of appetizers, desserts, and drinks that I have not tried yet but I will definitely return here for a special treat of a meal.
Disclaimer on my cons below-
The faux meats they use are amazing. The fried noodle dish said chicken on the menu but it tasted more like pork. The California rolls should have had imitation crab but they used shrimp. *THIS IS FINE, THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE.* And I mention the overwhelming options because most vegans around here are used to a small handful of options at any new place. I love how Veggie Heaven looks like your average Chinese takeout place but puts love and compassion in every meal.
Pros: Excellent and welcoming service from staff, Clean and comfortable seating and dining, Great value and portions
Cons: Faux meats might not match the menu, but all good, Too many options (for some people)

Iāve been here a couple of times now and I will say the textures and general taste of the food has been nice, but the spicy dishes have not really been as impactful as I expected. But the staff is hella friendly and the options are many.

Friendly Staff, Great Food - Edit
I ordered some apps and I enjoyed them all. The staff was very friendly and brought all of my food within like 10 minutes (this could be partially due to the fact that I was there for ālunchā at 4:30). Went back with a friend another time for dinner and my sentiments are the same. Service was soooo good both times and we both loved our food.

The best vegan restaurant around - Edit
Thereās legimately nothing left to be said: when it comes to variety, quality, and notoriety, Veggie Heaven is leagues above all competitors. It truly is special to live as close as one does to this restaurant, I believe it is that special. Were it not here, perhaps I wouldnāt be vegan this very day.

Flavourful vegan asian restaurant! - Edit
This will be my go-to restaurant when I'm in the area. It's one of the best restaurants that I've ever been to. Upon arrival, they placed a sheet on my table which stated, among other things, that they don't use MSG, artificial preservatives or flavourings, which is really nice to hear.
Read moreI ordered the General Tso's Crispy Tofu lunch special, which comes with either a spring roll or soup, I decided to get a spring roll. It also comes with brown rice or white rice, I opted for brown rice. I ordered steamed dumplings as an appetiser. I absolutely loved it all. The dumplings were quite light, so they were perfect for an appetiser. The General Tso's Crispy Tofu & the spring roll were flavourful and were portioned perfectly.
This restaurant primarily serves Chinese food, but it also has a sizeable list of Japanese dishes, and some Thai options as well.
Also, I must say, I absolutely loved the ambience. The dƩcor was beautiful, and the traditional Chinese music that they played in the background really enabled me to have a quiet and peaceful meal.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm looking forward to trying out more meals from here in the future!
Pros: Good value, Lots of options!
