Great vegan food! - Edit
The cafe is entirely vegan including desserts. They had a great variety of options and everything we tried was excellent. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The freshly made potato chips were a real stand out!

The main courses were hit or miss. The desserts were really lovely and unique. Staff were nice enough and attentive, however, the atmosphere was a little dead. Would recommend going for lunch rather than dinner. Great price though, very cheap!

I was so excited to see the vegan bifana on the menu and had big expectations, as it is a dish of my childhood in portugal. Definetly not disappointed! Tasted just awesome, as well as the very special vegan mayo.

Great variety of meals for small money and a menu of the day for 9€, which definetly get‘s you full.
The owner is a really nice and friendly guy.
PS: Would love to see the Hot-Dog changing into vegan one day!

Lovely, fresh and vibrant restaurant. Offers an al a carte menu along with a daily menu which consists of a starter, soup, main, desert and a drink (wine, beer or juice).
Read moreWe visited twice, the first time we had the set menu which was absolutely delicious! Brusetta with tomatoes and cashew cheese, (which was wonderful!!!) a veggie soup, a little pizza for main and a very rich tiramisu for desert. The second time I had the Portuguese Carrots to start and the beetroot and quinoa for main - both were great. The burger came with crisps which were crunchy and salty and slightly addictive.
Serves alcohol and has a pleasant garden out the back in which you can sit back and enjoy the sunshine and the smell of the home grown herbs.

We popped in for breakfast this morning. We had the vegan cheese on toast and oat milk coffees. Really yummy food and friendly service. The lunchtime menu looks really good, with some great ‘junk food’ including a bifana and a hot dog...we will be back to try these soon. Big cafe with lots of tables indoor and outside on the terrace.

This restaurant is without doubt the best place to eat in Albufeira! The whole menu is vegan except for one vegetarian item (the hotdog) and the tastes are amazing and the service outstanding. So many choices on the menu and extra options on the specials board, vegan wines and beverages to choose from and a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The pate and cracker starter is delicious, the vegan alternative of the local Portuguese special is super tasty and we highly recommend the tempah burger and the cake choices, beetroot and strawberry, chocolate mousse, sugar free banana and chocolate and many more are so satisfying. Lots of wholesome but outstandingly tasty food with juices available too, we will be back for sure! Really worth a visit if your vegan, veggie or a meat eater, the whole experience is a truly positive one!

Primarily vegan, with a few vegetarian options. Imaginative dishes, great quality & flavours, and friendly & helpful staff. The (vegan) chocolate cake was awesome. Visited multiple times during our stay.

This place was fantastic. It's a bit far from the touristy parts of Albufeira but worth the walk. The cafe has a cool, clean vibe with a leafy outdoor terrace to enjoy your food on. I had the houmus wrap with thin fries and some salad and it was really delicious. Waiter was a really cool guy. Bill for two came to about 18 EUR incl. drinks.

I visited the Veggie Cafe with a couple of friends that are from the Algarve. We eat outside, on the fabulous terrace with a lot of places and very cozy. The service and staff are fantastic. The food is DELICIOUS! We taste the Tofu Steaks, the Veggie Burger and two desserts (cheesecake and "serradura"). It's one of the best places that I visited in the Algarve!

Visitei o Veggie Cafe com um casal de amigos que são do Algarve e que nos recomendaram este espaço. Nós comemos fora, no fabuloso terraço que tem muitos lugares e é muito acolhedor. O serviço e a equipe são fantásticas - as pessoas que nos serviram eram informadas e muito divertidas. A comida é DELICIOSA! Nós provámos os Bifes de Tofu, o Hambúrguer Veggie e duas sobremesas (cheesecake e "serradura"). É um dos melhores lugares que visitei no Algarve!

Read moreUnfortunately the service was bad from the start. We ended up fetching our own menus and sat outside to save time. The waiter was friendly and polite but the waitress was less so. Maybe she didn’t speak English (not sure as she literally didn’t say a word back to us) but she was disinterested and didn’t smile at all. I can only think she was having a really bad day.
Food was nice. Unusual and really cheap. We got a starter to share, a main each, a milkshake and 2 drinks and it came to €20.
Might return here, only because others vegan eateries are very limited in the area. If the staff were fully trained then definitely.

Amazing! A mandatory visit in Algarve, at a fair price. The day's menu is a safe choice: there is great variety throughout the week and the food is very healthy and tasty. Desserts are simply delicious! To fearlessly "use and abuse". One of the best vegan restaurants in Algarve (if not the best one).

Was pleasantly surprised to find a place where I could have a proper and tasty as well as low priced three course meal that also had eye for food styling. I enjoyed and shared a vegan pate and cracker plate, then had a vegan alheira (which was super tasty), and finished off the night with a (glutenfree and refined sugar free, not to mention vegan) crumble. Such a lovely evening.

Wow!!! is all I can say. I was a bit nervous going in and when I saw the menu that I wouldn’t be into this place. I’m vegetarian but love comfort food and don’t want to sacrifice taste for health. I thought there was a chance this place would be bland, cold vegetables on limp bread but I was wrong! I had the ham and cheese toast and the pancake and they were absolutely amazing. Ham and cheese toast crispy and cheesy but not overly greasy. Pancake delicious with oats instead of white flour, some sort of cream and berries on top... some of the best vegetarian food I’ve ever had. Also, the coffee was amazing and all the other coffee drinkers at the table said it was the best I’ve had. HIGHLY recommend going here!!
