Delicious & affordable Indian food - Edit
Nice Indian place with outside seating area, service was very polite and fast, menu has items that you don't often find at Indian restaurants (at least outside of Berlin) such as dosa, idly and special Indian desserts. I'm also not used to getting several 'sides' like chutney with my order at Indian restaurants. Great value for money! Be aware that cashless payment might not always work here.

Delicious, cheap, and fast food - Edit
The food here is really nice - cheap and cheerful South Indian faire. Nothing pretentious, in a nice space with great service. They have lunch deals as well, and the sweets and drinks are also good. they are in a nice spot in Bergmannkiez opposite the market hall and have a small deli in the back with Indian goods such as spices. Their thalis are a really nice way to try a selection of things, and the main dishes are flavourful and come in large portions.

This Indian restaurant has a large menu, which includes only vegan and vegetarian food - vegan dishes are clearly marked. It's possible to veganize more drinks by asking for coconut milk instead of dairy, too.

I wish they had used only fresh vegetables instead of fresh vegetables mixed with frozen (typical German) vegetables...
Staff is friendly and service was good. Happy also that dogs can sit outside next to the table.

Read moreGute Speisen zu sehr günstigen Preisen. Ich fand mein Gericht etwas zu mild gewürzt - aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Wegen so einer Kleinigkeit ziehe ich keinen Stern ab. Man kann ja immer nachwürzen. :)
Von daher auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Read moreWe waren das erste Mal hier und sehr zufrieden mit dem kleinen Restaurant. Das Essen schmeckte uns Vieren gut und das Personal war sehr freundlich. WE sassen an einem Tisch draußen und die Gegend gefiel uns gut. Es gibt Menüs auf Deutsch und auf English. Eine gute Auswahl an veganen Speisen, und sie waren gut von den vegetarischen zu unterscheiden. Nachdem wir bestellt hatten, bekamen wir unser Essen überraschend schnell und fast zur selben Zeit.
Wir werden bestimmt noch mal herkommen!

We visited the first time and we were very happy. The food was great, the staff very friendly, we sat at a table outside and the area was nice. They have menus in English and German and we were satisfied with the vegan options.
We got our food surprisingly fast, after we ordered.
We will go back there again!

I got the vegan lunch menu so I could try a bit of everything. Pretty good considering the price! My friend said she enjoyed her vegetarian meal. There is an ATM in the restaurant, which was out of order when we were there, but makes the cash-only thing easier. The staff are welcoming too.

This is an incredible amount and quality of food for the price of €5! Stopped by on a whim after shopping at Veganz and was blown away. Had expected a lukewarm couple of dishes but the variety of flavors and textures was great and the spice profile was a pleasant surprise.

This was a really pleasant surprise! Located near Marheinekeplatz this small but cozy restaurant served us delicious south indian food. We had the Masala Dosa, 1 Samosa and the vegan Thali, all great. In addition the staff is really friendly.

Feel torn over what star to give. This place is cheap which is a plus (however water was more expensive than our veg roll starters). I went with my boyfriend who enjoyed the food but I was not particularly thrilled. The server was very friendly but forgot two things we had ordered. Whilst we were not charged for these there was only one other table in the restaurant so he wasn’t exactly rushed off his feet. Overall happy to pay for what we got but as food/service was only average the price suits what we got I suppose (€20 for 2 veg rolls, 2 curries and 2 waters)

The food was absolutely delicious, I got the tofu manchurian and my bf got the cauliflower tofu curry, both absolutely delicious and only €7.90 each, had a nice long chat with the owner and good priced alcohol!! Really really lovely people would honestly recommend to anyone!! Go here ❤️❤️(for the ruby red walls)

I'm absolutely astonished that one person gave a bad review to this place, in the 12 or so times I've eaten there, I was always surprised at how good it was for the price, never had one complaint about anything.

As this place usually has good reviews, I am confused. Went here to grab a quick dinner before the concert in Passionskirche which is across the street. The place had a disgusting odour, I almost left but was hungry so stuck with it. Also it is apparently getting renovated, so people were working and half of the restaurant was not in function. The potatoes tasted and smelled a bit off, and also one part of the Thali tasted and smelled like if was completely bad. We got out of there very quickly. At least it was cheap. Hope they solve their issues because I was hoping for much more.
