Fabulous food

We ate here twice. It would have been more but couldn't find it.
The food is beautiful. The couple who run it speak quite good English. If we go to Praia Da Rocha again we will definitely go back.

Pros: Great food, Everything is Vegan, Prices are good

Cons: Only open at lunch times, It's a bit small

Excellent food

Very busy and small place. We had to wait and sat at the bat. I had the 1/2 plate of the day and a fresh juice. Really delicious. I also shared a cake with my boyfriend that was also really nice. Very economic prices.

Heavenly food

Can’t recommend this place enough. The food was fantastic. Fantastic service. I loved my empada and my mother loved her quiche. The beetroot juice cocktail (raw and non alcoholic) was suburb. Will go again when in Portimao. It’s a must!!!

Pros: Great food , Great service

Absolutely FIRST CLASS!!!

Unbelievable food, and incredible prices! We ate there today, and had Vegan Quiche and several salads with lentils, tofu etc. It was DELICIOUS! We also had an amazing Apple, Beetroot, Pineapple, Orange and Ginger Juice- so tasty. And for desert, we had some really nice Cheese Cakes. The whole lot cost 20€ for 2 people, and was so nice and filling. Can not recommend highly enough!

Pros: Tasty, healthy food, at amazing price.

Cons: There was no menu to chose from, and there was no

Busy place

The very smal restaurant was a good experience. Have been there twice and it has been crowded, there has alway been a que waiting for a sitting place. One of the best I have visited, and they are many during the 36 years as a vegetarian.

One can chose between two three meals, there is also a soup.

It is owned by the adventism parish so there is no coffe

It nearly empties after 14

I recommend going...

Lovely people...It's small place, but I think it's just the right size. Food is amazing. Deserts are to good not to have one. The pies are a good snack... You can say that almost everything is good...

Delicious food in authentic little place

Went to the city just for this restaurant and was not disappointed. They had two dishes of the day and then also a quiche and some other things. I'm not completely sure what I had because the lovely lady working there was already trying hard to explain the menu in English and I didn't want to bother her even more, but I think she said something about an almond cake - looked like little burger patties and was covered in a bell pepper sauce. It also came with some fresh and yummy salad and fried pasta. Had a big portion of this, a fresh juice, a delicious chocolate mousse for dessert and a small portion of the second dish of the day (veggie meat) to go - everything for 14,30€! It was also quite busy with locals so it felt authentic! Would recommend!

Pros: Fresh dishes of the day, Fresh juices , Desserts

Really good, but small and crowded

For only 19€ me and my girlfriend got delicious vegan meals, a fresh juice (delicious!) AND two different desserts. That makes it the best place for the price we have eaten in Portimao!

Pros: Price is good, food is totally wholesome! :p

Cons: It was actually a bit stressful for me with people, They're only open for a few hours a day. , Still get 5 stars though! :D

Melhor opção em Portimão

Várias opções veganas. A comida é saborosa e o preço acessível. O espaço é limitado e houve demora desnecessária no atendimento.

amazing little place :)

Food was delish! There was only to choices of plates but I was really happy with my meal! I had a big plate of eggplant and couscous pâté that was so good, even my non vegan boyfriend found it amazing! We had a fresh juice too that was really good, and the prices are so low for the quality of the food, so I recommend you try this place!

Pros: big portions, great quality of the food, fast service since warmed in the microwave

Cons: warmed in the microwave

worth the stop

Stoped in on a drive past Portimao and glad we did. The food was so good we bought some to go for the rest of the drive. It must be a hit with the locals because the small place was packed and people were waiting for seats.

Authentic cuisine!

This small family run restaurant offers several daily menus + take away.
When we went there we tasted the "empadao" which is the tradicional mashed potatoes with minced meat. It was served with plenty of different salads: carotts, beetroot, corn, etc.
We also had a frech apple/carott juice to drink.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is really friendly. Our waitress was the 8 years old youngest girl of the family; she new all the menus and options by heart :-)
Lots of locals came to take away their food for lunch.
Food is really cheap: 5.50€ for the main dish and 2€ for the juice.

Pros: Food, Very cheap prices, Tradicional cuisine

Cons: No written menu available, Only 4 tables in the restaurant

little gem

This is a little gem, the staff are very friendly, the food is simple but really tasty, with a choice of soup, two main meals, salads and pasties followed by a choice of puddings.
It is small cafe with only limited seating, it is very popular with the locals (justifiably).
They make fruit juices to die for.
Please give it a go it is well worth a visit.

Pros: Very good food, Good fruit juice / smoothies, Inexpensive

Cons: limited seating

Good food, very friendly

The staff here is very friendly, the ingredients are fresh, the food is good... definitely a good experience.

If you're in southern Portugal, this is the only vegan place you're going to find, but it's not just good because it's the only thing you can find. It's good on its own standard.

Desserts at this place are highly recommended.

Pros: All-vegan, Friendly

delicious homemade food with love

the best food we have eaten in portugal. my bf is not vegan not even veggie but he enjoyed this food so so much. he also said this was the best food :) we went there twice for lunch. both days they had delicious homemade cooked vegan food(three options normally - all nice balance of protein and carbs with healthy grains) you can have small or big plates. they put your choice on it with salad, nuts, bit of fruit & dressing. we had fresh juices and desserts. all delicious. the vegan deserts are divine. they serve soya coffee too.

Pros: excellent food, friendly staff, nice homey place
