Very busy and small place. We had to wait and sat at the bat. I had the 1/2 plate of the day and a fresh juice. Really delicious. I also shared a cake with my boyfriend that was also really nice. Very economic prices.

Can’t recommend this place enough. The food was fantastic. Fantastic service. I loved my empada and my mother loved her quiche. The beetroot juice cocktail (raw and non alcoholic) was suburb. Will go again when in Portimao. It’s a must!!!

Unbelievable food, and incredible prices! We ate there today, and had Vegan Quiche and several salads with lentils, tofu etc. It was DELICIOUS! We also had an amazing Apple, Beetroot, Pineapple, Orange and Ginger Juice- so tasty. And for desert, we had some really nice Cheese Cakes. The whole lot cost 20€ for 2 people, and was so nice and filling. Can not recommend highly enough!

Busy place - Edit
The very smal restaurant was a good experience. Have been there twice and it has been crowded, there has alway been a que waiting for a sitting place. One of the best I have visited, and they are many during the 36 years as a vegetarian.

I recommend going... - Edit
Lovely people...It's small place, but I think it's just the right size. Food is amazing. Deserts are to good not to have one. The pies are a good snack... You can say that almost everything is good...

Delicious food in authentic little place - Edit
Went to the city just for this restaurant and was not disappointed. They had two dishes of the day and then also a quiche and some other things. I'm not completely sure what I had because the lovely lady working there was already trying hard to explain the menu in English and I didn't want to bother her even more, but I think she said something about an almond cake - looked like little burger patties and was covered in a bell pepper sauce. It also came with some fresh and yummy salad and fried pasta. Had a big portion of this, a fresh juice, a delicious chocolate mousse for dessert and a small portion of the second dish of the day (veggie meat) to go - everything for 14,30€! It was also quite busy with locals so it felt authentic! Would recommend!

I had a big plate of eggplant and couscous pâté that was so good, even my non vegan boyfriend found it amazing! We had a fresh juice too that was really good, and the prices are so low for the quality of the food, so I recommend you try this place!

worth the stop - Edit
Stoped in on a drive past Portimao and glad we did. The food was so good we bought some to go for the rest of the drive. It must be a hit with the locals because the small place was packed and people were waiting for seats.

Authentic cuisine! - Edit
This small family run restaurant offers several daily menus + take away.
Read moreWhen we went there we tasted the "empadao" which is the tradicional mashed potatoes with minced meat. It was served with plenty of different salads: carotts, beetroot, corn, etc.
We also had a frech apple/carott juice to drink.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is really friendly. Our waitress was the 8 years old youngest girl of the family; she new all the menus and options by heart :-)
Lots of locals came to take away their food for lunch.
Food is really cheap: 5.50€ for the main dish and 2€ for the juice.
Pros: Food, Very cheap prices, Tradicional cuisine
Cons: No written menu available, Only 4 tables in the restaurant
