Not really geared towards vegans - Edit
They are aware of veganism, but their vegan options aren’t exciting

Recomendacion - Edit
Siempre que tenemos viaje a Guadalajara llegamos acá. Todo es delicioso si eres realmente vegano/vegetariano. El servicio es muy bueno y asombrosamente cuando entras a ese lugar haya una paz hermosa.

Good one - Edit
I like this restaurant, specially their tapioca dessert, it's delicious! The food is okay, not vegan tho.. You can eat a good meal with little money and have a relaxing time.

Too filling, not so tasty - Edit
I have not come back to this restaurant in a while because last time, the food made feel sick for some hours. The vegetarian choices in the city are overall better from my point of view. It may also be one of the most expensive options around. The serving of a plate is way too much.
Read morePros: Always open, Good service
Cons: A little bit expensive, My tummy felt unhappy after meal :(, Too big plates for tasting different one

Filling but not too exciting - Edit
Had a lunch menu of salad, soup, drink, main and was given a dessert of a bar similar to a peanut brittle because there was no vegan options. Not all staff understood what was vegan on the menu. There are better places in GDL.

Great menu and good vibe - Edit
I go to Guadalajara for work and always make a beeline for ut Zanahoria. It may not be in the tourist zone as this is a resturant for ecologically conscious locals and they practice what they preach. It seems some of their staff are have mental/intellectual disabilities which is great to see that they are a socially responsible project as well as paying respects to the environment.
Read moreThe food is lovely too. There are more options if you are lacto veggie but more than enough if you're vegan. The service is efficient and they can help (though have phrases ready if you are a Spanish learner). It would be good if they stated what is vegan and what isn't to help the good service I've experienced here more.
The health food shop is really good with all your vegan needs if you're here for a while.
Pros: great selection, local Jalisco dishes, reasonable prices
Cons: mark vegan options

Good - Edit
I had the lunch menu of the day, which was vegan and they substituted the dairy based dessert for a granola bar type thing. I also liked the range of products to buy, including soy milk yogurt in various flavours and hummus.

Cons: Not in the city centre

I fell in LOVE - Edit
I loved eating here, everyone is so friendly.
Read moreThe environment is beautiful, the colors of the
business was very bold and positive. I had the
vegan milanesa with freshly juiced cucumber juice
and international rice (it was brown rice with diffrent
cut vegis in it) and my parents had albondigas (faux meatballs) with a big salad (i forgot what it was called)
but in general the food was really good. not greasy nor too expensive. the food took awhile to cook but we didn't mind.
they also have a little section where they sell books, frozen meals, faux meats, bread, shampoos, lotions and deserts. it was really nice being able to eat something that wasn't greasy in guadalajara. i really enjoyed it.
5/5 cows :D
Pros: Healthy food, BIG Variety , Outdoor and Indoor seating
Cons: Small parking lot, Hard to find

Drop Dead Delicious: - Edit
A beautifully set restaurant in a city drowning in meaty eateries; it has an extremely extensive menu of the most heavenly vegan and vegetarian dishes. They are open to all type of dietary accommodations, be it for personal, dietary, or health related reasons. The place is really clean and the vegetarian manager is usually on site. It is also part health food store where one can actually find FAUX MEATS, and it sells a variety of tasty breads and cookies and snacks to satisfy even the most demanding whole wheat-fiends... The dishes are made on order, so everything is fresh, including their wonderful fresh juices, veganized Mexican dishes, and tasty breakfasts. The prices are just right, the servings are enough for a doggy bag, and the ambiance and manager are most charming. A must go for any veg stranded in Guadalajara.
Read morePS: The Soy Ceviche is a must, with whole wheat tostadas.
Pros: Exquistite food, Many vegan options, Veg/Yogi Manager usually on site
Cons: Absolutely None!!
