Delicious! - Edit
Really enjoyed our time here, attentive, friendly staff. 2 vegan main options on a set menu for lunch (taro gratin or spinach curry). You also get a starter (pickled veg and salad), choice of rice or bread and a drink included. English menu kindly provided with clearly labelled vegan items. Very helpful, delicious food and it was so nice to eat a bunch of veg after a couple days without. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Wow wow wow!!! - Edit
I wish I could give this place 5 stars! There are a lot of vegan options on the menu - marked with a 'V' (milk has an extra label, as does wheat and other potential intolerances) - this is including starters and dessert options. You can tell everything is super fresh, seasonal and prepared with love 💕
Read moreHave your translator ready because the menu is written in Japanese😉but the lovely people in there speak well enough English too to help navigate the options!
Wish I could come back here soon 🥹

Vegetable focused now with English menu - Edit
The food dinner menu was available in English though we did need to google translate the drinks. The menu also had v for vegetable dishes and other contents/ allergens marked.
Read moreI had the dry sake it was really good and it’s a 300ml screw top so you can take away if you don’t finish it over dinner.
I had corn soup starter and the ratatouille after. As other have said the food is great though portions a little small so I got bread on the side too. I said vegetarian but think he thought vegan as I got oil with my bread so that’s good to know that the chef is aware of and will adapt for vegans.
Very tasty and would recommend close to the main train station in Odawara too.
Pros: Choice of dishes, Vegetable focus, Sake
Cons: Small portions

Amazing local flavors ! - Edit
The food was excellent and so flavorful. Everything is made with local ingredients. The owner speaks enough english to recommend vegan options. As mentioned in other posts, the menu is in Japanese, however free wifi is offered in case you don’t have a local sim card. Have a glass of plum wine, it’s delicious !

Tasty items, small portions - Edit
We found this place (google maps put us around the corner) and the flavors were delicious. The pickled vegetables and the ratatouille were great. The plum sake was also very tasty. The menu is only in Japanese so we needed to use our translate app, but the chef was able to point out what was vegan and what was vegetarian. The portions were a bit small but everything was delicious.

Awesome food, and great customer service! Staff was super friendly. They knew a bit of English, but we mostly used Google Translate to communicate. We absolutely loved all of the food! Will definitely be back!

Focus is on maximizing the vegetables' natural flavours - Edit
This is a gem if you enjoy vegetables and I would give it 5 stars if possible, one of my favourite restaurants in Japan. I went here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The menu changes daily. I had okra in a vinegar and mustard dressing, an edamame and deliciously sweet cherry tomato salad, pan roasted potatoes and a few other dishes. Everything was prepared fantastically. The produce that he uses is delicious and the focus seems to be on highlighting the flavour of each individual vegetable. The chef understands the term vegan and will highlight the items on the menu that are vegan or can be made vegan. Definitely worth a stop if you are in town or making a stop on your way to Hakone.
