Cheap and good food, what else?

A typical Asian-styled restaurant with tons of tasty vegan food. I tried the all you can eat during the week, with coffee and ice cream included.
Recommended if you want to eat a lot and cheap

Pros: Lots of options, Cheap, Friendly staff

A fully vegan chinese buffet!

This place was perfect for having a lunch during a windy day, when I visited Malmo. The course begins with a hot, starchy soup (made out of corn, I guess) and then all you can eat including hot dishes. I wish they served some dessert, but I was okay with fresh fruit.

Pros: cheap, all you can eat, hot inside

85 crowns asian buffet

We came pretty late for lunch, but still tried everything they had this day. Almost everything was decent! I can recommend this place. Really good deal, though: 85 crowns, all you can eat!

Pros: Lot of options, affordable,

Good for a onetime visit, pricy with little children

Quite tasty but a bit too sweet and greasy for me. They serve some fake chicken, fake lamb, and other stuff. Can't recommend the spring rolls. - They also have a BBQ where you can let fry your picks from a seperate buffet (soj chunks, fake meat, vegetables, etc. ) with a sauce of your choice (peanut, curry, mushroom, bbq) - Had to pay 85 SEK for our 3y old daughter what is a bit too much in my opinion, though the price includes two balls of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce.

Pros: vegan, all you can eat, not super-healthy-vegan

Cons: everything tastes kind of the same

Amazing Asian food

A big variety of vegan Asian dishes, including vegan shrimps and different mock meat options. Lots of fruit too, also dessert is included in the price.

You can eat until you hate yourself and you'll still be loving it.

Pros: Different and creative food, Affordable, Dessert included

Cheap buffet

Fun place to visit once!
All you can eat buffet with deep fried fast food. Everything is quite greasy. The fake meat tastes just like meat in standard fried Asian dishes. Nice staff, cheap. But I wouldn't go there again.

Pros: Cheap, Nice staff , Nice staff

Cons: Greasy, unhealthy food , No variety, everything tastes the same

Fantastic food, awesome fake meats!

We came for the lunch buffet, all you can eat for 85kr, and leave feeling like we have massive food babies. Great, tasty food, fantastic price, nice people, nice tucked away place, incredibly happy. The only sad thing is that my stomach is too small to eat everything. Will recommend to every one I know coming to Malmö!

Pros: Great tasting food (awesome fake meats), Fantastic Price, Not too crowded, nice place

Great buffet!

It's a great option for oriental food. Based on soja and seitan "meat".

awesome vegan chinese restaurant

I am vegan for the animals; being healthy is 2ary of being vegan for me. That being said, I LOVE ME SOME FRIED VEGAN CHICKEN with sweet and sour sauce.
It is a clean, friendly, cheap, chinese restaurant in the heart of Malmö. Highly recommended!

great

I have been to a few of these vegan Asian buffets, this is the best quality! There wasn’t quite as much variety but I think everything they did have was a lot more tasty!! :)

Quality

Exactly what you expect and want from a place like this. Not outstanding, experimental, healthy food. Just tastes good and say satisfies you. Does the job it sets out to do to perfection.

Delicious food

Very nice food. All vegan restaurant that offers both buffet and possibility to order from a meny. If ordering from the menu, the "dinner for two" option is really nice. Has a range of different vegan meats, both made of soy and also seitan (gluten).

The fried banana with syrup and ice cream dessert is amazing - the banana has a perfectly crisp surface.

Pros: So many options, Nice environment, Friendly staff

Not good food

Cheap all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet. Fake meat in sticky sauce, very greasy fritters and sauces, not good! Salad bar and mains kept under lights, not fresh or healthy. Main benefits were the very pleasant staff and the price... it was cheap! Would not revisit!

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Very greasy

Really great place

I was never a fan of asian cuisine as a meat eater but as a vegan I've come to love this place. I visit it often when I'm in Malmö and they have really good buffet food to very reasonable price. They serve a variety of asian style courses and the staff is always very nice. The place is a bit off but still downtown and it's just a couple of minutes walk from the city centre. I really recommend this.

Pros: Really good food, Reasonable prices, Great staff

Cons: A bit off the city centre

Good buffet

Vegegården is exactly like any other Chinese buffet only better - because it's vegan and you get some other different dishes.

It's oily and unhealthy - but that's the charm :)

It does taste good!

Pros: All vegan

Cons: It's getting more expensive for the same food

All you can eat buffet

It's located just a few minutes from Gustav Adolfs Torg, which is a great location.

The restaurant is clean, food is good, the price is fine and the staff is friendly. They have a lot of fake meat. My absolute favourite is the "lambstew". The fried shrimps come next.

I once asked to buy their tasty garlic sauce, instead they shared their receipt with me. How sweet!

I recommended it if your in town and would like to eat Asian food for lunch. The lunch buffet is Mon-Fri 11am - 15pm. During the weekend they offer a "weekend buffet" from 1pm and is a little more pricey. Never tried it.

Pros: Cheap, great selection of dishes, friendly staff

Cons: None

Tasty and good price!

All you can eat buffet with really tasty curry stews, fried vegshrimps and mockduck, springrolls, lambstew etc. rice, noodles and fresh veg/fruit. I go here at least once every other month when I'm hungry and looking for a proper lunch.

The restaurant is super clean and tidy, fast and good service! You can also buy their mock meat products there.

I'm missing something more spicy on the lunch buffét, that's the only reason for not giving the fifth star.

It all tastes the same

I understand why people like this classic Malmö place, it is the opposite to the healty vegan lifestyle. It has an all you can eat vegan menu. Yeah, the concept is great. But you know what, it all tastes the same... and that taste is boring. But hey, give it a try if you like fried fake meat.
