Authentic Chinese cuisine - Edit
Stunning restaurant with so many traditional Chinese dishes vegified. Great portion sizes and you've got to love a complimentary pot of green tea with your order. I will say I did order the sharer soup pot which was a 👀 too big for the stomach moment but I was peckish so managed to finish it off. The menu is clearly labelled to show which dishes are not vegan.

The seating area is small but clean, and it's connected to a small mall.

I wish we lived closer so we could try more of the items!
I love that they have accurate photos of the dishes on the menu. The serving sizes were very generous.
The only downside was that vegan items weren’t marked on the menu. Everything was vegetarian but quite a few things had egg. The server was very friendly though and we were able to confirm everything we ordered was made vegan.

Read moreI found this place when I had a massive craving for something super spicy and soupy. I'm a big fan of Chinese cuisine (I myself am part Chinese, and grew up eating it frequently) so I really wanted a place that would not only offer vegan Chinese food... but GOOD vegan Chinese food. Even before I was vegan I found myself disappointed by a lot of Chinese restaurants, so to find one that was vegan and delicious? What a huge, amazing moment!
We ordered their "Boiled Veggie Fillet in Chili Oil" and their "Wild Mushroom Congee", which was definitely more than enough food for 2 people. The prices are rather good-- the dish in chili oil was a bit expensive, but it was understandable once it was brought out and was HUGE. And oh my goodness, it was delicious. The spice level was high (which is great!) and the flavour was amazing... The veggie fillets swimming within were tender and soaked up the oil beautifully. As for the mushroom congee, this was actually my favourite of the two! I adore congee and make it at home a lot, but never thought to put an assortment of mushrooms in it. Well, now my recipe is changed forever because it was the best congee of my entire life. If you like mushroom flavour, get it. I look forwards to going back so I can order it again.
The menu is also very good about showing which menu items contain eggs, dairy, or nuts. The majority of items are completely vegan.
Lastly, staff was friendly and the restaurant atmosphere was very chill. It's in a little mall and isn't anything too fancy to look at, but I personally found it relaxing. The food was brought out surprisingly fast and the table service was timely and very kind!

Just to add for anyone viewing this in the future: No washrooms in the restaurant, but there are washrooms a ~1-2 min walk away down the hall and to the left within the connected mall.
