Absolutely incredible! - Edit
2nd visit here and I am amazed again as I've had both the best burger of my life (bollywood burger) and the best coffee of my life (ice coffee with chocolate and cream). I also took a cashew-cheese-balls salad for a takeaway and it was great, not the best only because the best one I've eaten here the previous time in a more sweet version😄
Read moreP.S. With the burger it's the sauces that stand out the most, it was very different from any other burger I've eaten before.

I think it's the cheapest vegan place in Leuven and the food is GREAT.
Big tasty and healthy vegan sandwiches with lots of protein for a small price.
Very friendly staff. No one's offended if you don't order drinks with your meal (a real plus in Belgium).

Favourite place in Leuven - Edit
This is hands down my favourite vegan place in Leuven. The food is great, portions are huge and price is very reasonable. The owners are lovely Ladies. Make sure you try the sweets as well. Only downside is the opening hours. Wish they were open a lot more

Favorite eating place in Leuven/ Belgium/ Europe/ world/ universe :-D - Edit
This was our third visit to this cozy eating place and it will definitely not be our last! As a starter we had the tapas plate and a vegan chickn satay with peanut sauce , main dish the gourmet burger and a falafal salad. The portions are huge, art on a plate and taste great !We went back in the evening for deserts , pink freakshake and amarena lollypop , both were awesome . The owners , mother and daughter are very kind and I think they run on supercharged batteries , they keep going and going and they run the whole place just with the two of them! Our favorite eating place ever!

We went there for coffee and cake but should probably've gone for lunch. The coffee was pretty bad. The cake was ok but 5€ for a thin tarte is "slightly" overpriced.

I have been here several times and their sandwiches are to die for. I especially love their falafel sandwich. Everything is vegan. Apparently their desserts are great too, but I don’t have I sweat tooth.

VegaVerso is one of my favorite places in Belgium. It's cozy, the two women that own the place are some of the loveliest people I've ever met and their food is tha bomb!
Read moreVegaVerso serves sandwiches, burgers, hotdogs, salads, soup, freakshakes, pies, donuts, cupcakes, ... you name it. Everything is fresh and you can taste it. I especially like their sandwiches and the cherry pie (it's sugar free, but the best I've ever had). Oh, they also have special coffees with cookies and such, which you have to try!
The only negative thing that I can say about it, is that sometimes there's a bit much sauce on the burgers or hotdogs. Some people like that of course, but for me it's a bit much. And their opening hours are not always ideal. But that being said, I make the time to visit them, enjoy their great food and their friendly faces :-)

This was the best place we ve been while in Leuven. The two ladies that own the place are really friendly and I loved the fact that they are ethical vegans and have quotes everywhere about animal rights but also human rights. The food was really tasty, but it was a bit difficult for us to understand the menu, since its only in Dutch, and even if we speak english and french we didnt have another option than to order without really understanding what we will get. The experience was so good that we really didnt care about the menu, and loved everything we ate. Big portions and made with love

It is very difficult to say whether it is teahouse, restaurant, fast food... since it has a bit of everything.

The food is all vegan, so it's nice you do not have to worry about that, since they are pretty specialized in making things getting pretty close to what people are used to eat as non-vegan in for example a fast food.
They have some very lovely desserts here as well.
It is an amazing experience to taste what they are capable of making being all vegan.
Now the alternatives planned based foods of something that people used to know differently, are not really my kind of thing, now I really enjoyed the experience and tasting it.
I go there to show people the possibility and also with the kids to provide them the alternative experience.
Nice place, especially for coffee/dessert in the afternoon, the only real struggle for us are the opening hours.
They are so variable; change last minute, closed when they said would be open, they are open now can't serve you anymore because they will close soon... making it for us very hard to be able to make it, the kids get very disappointed and resulting in us stopping to go there.

My favorite food in Leuven. There are a million options in this vegan "sandwich" restaurant but i often get the same one - the gyro sandwich on rye bread. My fave. they also do yummy burgers, and their dessert options are different every day - to include gluten-free, maybe even sugar free options. DO check opening hours, then go to their FB page to double-check if they are open on that day as they are more closed than open.

All vegan café, with very generous portions, bursting with flavour !! The have sandwiches, nachos, big salads, veggie burgers, cakes, fancy drinks... Everything is made in front of you on the counter : fresh, good quality, real food. Neither fastfood nor super healthy raw food, just real good food.

Very nice interior and an outdoor seating area. The staff consists of two lovely ladies that prepare the meals fresh right in front of you. The amount of meals on offer is astounding. There's burgers with mock chicken, beef, fish, hot dogs, ice cream, cakes.. We tried a hot dog, chicken burger and a classic burger and all were amazing! Prepared in a very short time, considering how crowded the place was during the lunch time, and the portions were massive. Last but not least the price was low for what you get. It's a must go if you happen to be in the area.

The curry sauce was a bit too salty for my taste, but hey, personal preferences differ. ;)

A vegan and gluten free dream in a good ambience and great music! Tasty and large portions, very well prepared! The Gluten free burgers are delicious! Jack fruit BbQ burger is sooo delicious! The salads are also delicious (indian falafel is the best I tried so far)! Even the sweets are great!

Tilly and her mom are very friendly, great variety of dishes and vegan pastry and cakes. You can finetune your own burger (type of bread, sauce, ..). (but unfortuntely no burger bun, that would be my own minor point, maybe that can still be added to the bread options?)
It's not a fancy restaurant, but more a sandwich bar style place (you order at counter, and then food is brough to your table). Also take-away.
Cosy atmosphere, great place to sit back and relax.

Normally when you go to a sandwich or snack bar you have a few options. I feel overwhelmed every time I go to VegaVerso: what a lot of choice! I wonder how they do it. There are a lot of interesting combinations. I appreciate that it's all about 'taste' (and not per se health) in this place.

Sometimes they put too many salty ingredients or sauce on.
And the last time I went, there was an odd sour taste to the peanut sauce.
But all by all: I still like to go back every time I go shopping, there are still a hundred things I need to try out.
