Place is open, please don't write bad reviews like this just because a place was closed the day you visited...even more during a pandemic which affected many businesses, now your low points can affect it even more?

My apologies but it was known as the Red Pill when I was there in Mexico City and there were no signages outside the place. It may have reopened under this new name. It was not my intention to give a poor rating but to inform that the place was closed. Sorry about it

Yes Red Pill and Veganion are the same thing and only recently changed name. I asked the owner and she explained it to me. But that has nothing to do for whatever reason it was closed when you visited...maybe just that day maybe for a few days for COVID or another reason. Still not fair to have a forever 2 star review ranking them down because you found them closed

Thanks for the update. My apologies for giving a poor rating it was not intentional to rate them low but the information was not updated and being new to the city it was not easy looking for it and then finding the place closed and deserted. If there is anything I can do I can remove this rating if it helps

Hi Julie thanks for your message. I have amended by review to 3* and though I would like to give a higher rating it’s not appropriate to give a higher rating without having experience the dining or food.
Let me know how to reach out to you for feedback. I use the HappyCow app very often whenever I m overseas and more so in places where vegan/vegetarian food is so hard to find. When I was in Mexico City in October it was a challenge looking for these restaurants and unfortunately there were a few places still listed but was not open or moved to another location. It is never my intention to give a low rating for F&B outlets as I am aware of the hard work that goes into the industry. If the food is average I will just go with 3* but the 2* rating for this place (Red Pill) was meant to inform others & your team that the place was closed so you can update the app. Being a visitor who doesn’t speak Spanish it was challenging finding my way around, esp when it comes to food that serves my dietary needs. Thanks for the connection.
