Delicious food. Would recommend the Tahoe Satay as the premium dish to try. I also like that they don’t use meat substitutes in any of their dishes.

Went with two non vegan friends. Everyone raved about the food and the waitresses were also lovely and friendly. Great atmosphere, love the decor. Stairs to toilets a little scary 😆

We had to wait a while to get served, as the place was a bit busy, but the food was worth the wait. The fried cauliflower was delicious, the buns are a bit small.

Veganeese was a very unique fusion of Asian dishes and flavors. Our table shared a variety of small plates and all of them were delicious. I especially enjoyed the tahoe satay, papaya salad and panna cotta. The mocktail options were also very delicious, which is a plus. There were plenty of gluten free options as well.

Muy buen restaurante vegano - Edit
Tanto los entrantes como los principales estaban muy ricos. Las bebidas caseras igual. Fui con dos personas no veganas y quedaron impresionados. Repetiría

Can’t wait to go back! - Edit
The food here - Vegan Asian fusion - is absoluut amazing. So flavorful, colorful, delicious. Yes, it’s pricy if, like us, you want to try everything. But so worth it. One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a while. Can’t wait to go back. Service was quick and super friendly. A big plus! We especially loved the satay, springrolls and Korean fried cauliflower. Amazing

Tasty food - Edit
Food is really tasty here, but it's a small dishes, so you might want to order at least 2 per person. We had a rice, 1 "bite" and 2 buns, which was enough for 2 people, but if you are very hungry, you want to order more for sure😄
Read morePrice for the food on picture + 2beers was around 38€.
Good number of seats outside, nice location.
Some people were complaining in reviews about waiters, and I understand why😄They are a little too chill here :D
Overall I've enjoyed my experince here and will definitely visit this place again to try everything, but the tofu bun is my favourite thing so far :)
Pros: Tasty food, Good number of seats, Good location
Cons: Waiters could've pay more attention to visitors

We decided to try the spring rolls, five spices oyster mushroom bun and miso aubergine served with rice. It was good, but I was actually hoping for more flavor. Overall, this was enjoyable and the service was friendly.

bad experience - Edit
Really nice food.
Read moreUnfortunately the waitress threw by accident soy sauce all over a person on our table (shoes were ruined afterwards) The person was told to get the money back, by sending the pictures via email, but this never happened and the manager told the person that this was a bad situation but that the person has to blame herself… No words! Shame on you! Inacceptable attitude with clients
Pros: food
Cons: manager attitude

One of my favorite places - Edit
As a local and a fan of asian cuisine I go to this place regularly. Good food, great atmosphere, and really cool owner. Waiters are typically Amsterdam also known as bored and disconnected. But unfortunately this is a thing everywhere.

Could've been better - Edit
Veganees is a lovely and popular spot but the food fell short of the prices that were charged for it.
Read moreThe bao, although tasty, wasn't very generous on the filling and there were lots of overly 'bready' bites. The jackfruit rendang came in a very small bowl for a main dish and matching price, and while the pickles were a nice edition to the bowl and the texture is the jackfruit was on point, the rendang lacked the depth of flavor that I am accustomed to from this dish. It's too pricey for that kind of experience.

Bon choix varié. Saveurs asiatiques présentes. Original quand on n'a pas l'habitude (sinon c'est un peu "simple"). Bonne adresse pour faire découvrir 👌🏻

Good enough - Edit
Wanted to love it, but the food was just good enough. A perfectly okay restaurant, but not shockingly good.
Read moreI missed some juicyness in the bao buns, would've loved a thicker peanut sauce on the gado gado and expected an extraordinary taste on the nigiri, not just peeled tomato. The taste of the food alltogether was not as sophisticated as Asian food usually is.
On a positive note: food is served with a smile, the restaurant is bright and colorfully decorated, coffee is good and the gyoza's and summer rolls did hit the sweet spot.

We ordered the curry and tom kha which was spectacular, and 2 of the buns which were very good but a bit over-spiced for my taste (super subjective though, texture was great!)

Extremely good - Edit
We came across this vegan place by chance when we couldn't get a seat in another restaurant but it was a great choice!
Read moreThere's so many wonderful sounding dishes on the menu, so we chose to get multiple and share them between us, as well as two cocktails (I had strawberry fields forever).
We had the nigiri, samosas, summer rolls, the cauliflower and two bao buns each (I had the 5-spice oyster mushroom).
I wasn't a massive fan of the summer rolls but pretty sure that's a personal choice. Everything else was amazing though!
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Friendly staff , Quick service
