Best pizza ever! We just ordered the jackfruit pizza, a chicken burger and the chicken strips. Everything came hot and with plenty of sauces! The pizza was just devine! Full of big chunks of really jackfruit and fully loaded with the best vegan cheese we've had so far! It was nicely melting away and creamy! The bun of the burger was a really nice choice and the chicken piece was very thick. We're definitely coming back for more 😍

I ordered vegan brownie (I do appreciate the icing it came with wasn’t too sweet, it was a good balance). Mac & cheese had a subtle taste, really nice but adding some nutritional yeast would make it amazing. Vegan spaghetti and lasagna was delicious!

We were expecting better food due to the good reviews here. What we got was disappointing. Neither the "fish" nor the "steak" were tasty. The potatoe wedges weren't cooked/fried long enough and the atmosphere was dominated by plastic tablecloth and fake candles. The waiter/cook (probably the owner) was trying his best to make our experience better and exchanged the steak for hummus and didn't charge for the steak. The quality of the hummus was decent.

There's a huge amount to choose from at this place, and it seemed like it was all made to order and with care. Literally something for everyone - from healthy salads, juices and raw dishes to burgers. We went for sweet potato burgers which were huge! And very tasty. When we went it was the owner doing all the cooking and all the serving but he still had time to make sure everything was to our liking and answer questions. Very friendly place.

We went there for dinner. Had the cheesy garlic bread, which was very nice and cheesy. Also the eggplant dip, which was actually more of a tomato-dip but also nice. Then the tempeh salad and lasagna. The lasagna was very good and freshly made. The tempeh was really tasty - the big chunks of raw broccoli might have been better slightly roasted or cooked. Black tea with cardamom had a great flavor. The owner was super attentive and very friendly. Unfortunately we were the only people there so was a very quiet atmosphere. Hopefully more people will try it out!

We are so happy that we chose to come here! We received the friendliest, kindest service and we were made to feel very welcome. The lovely man who helped us throughout the evening was so patient with our group of 4.

I had the chickenish burger, my partner had the jackfruit bbq wrap and steak (each split in half to share with his brother) and another person had pasta. We were all completely satisfied though we could not fit in the desserts! Next time for sure.
It’s a small, cosy place which is not crowded at all. My partner and I will be returning for sure! Thanks again!

The owner is very friendly and he helped us to choose the best options from the extensive menu. I loved my Tempeh salad with crunchy halloumi cheese and avocado. For starters we had huge portion of cheesy garlic bread and aubergine dip - both very tasty. My partner had for a main course 'fish and chips' and although for me it was too greasy for him it was ok and tasty ('fish' is made of marinated tempeh and doesn't taste like fish).

I had a busy day exploring and was so pleased that this restaurant was close to my hotel and open later than most. I was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked in the restaurant. The food was plated beautifully and was quite delicious. I love supporting family owned businesses and will definitely come back if I’m in the area!

We stumbled upon this gorgeous little restaurant while we were walking home and thought the menu looked really varied and covered everyone’s needs.
Read moreWe were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who read us out all the specials for the month and made us feel very welcome.
We had fish tacos to start with some falafel which were absolutely divine, one of the best falafel wraps I’ve ever had.
I then had the tempah salad for main with a huge bowl of mac and cheese on the side and some crispy halloumi. I couldn’t recommend this enough, the tempah was incredible and the crispy halloumi was delicious!
If you are looking to try new vegan food I could not recommend this place enough, the food and the service were fantastic!

Also found out they are open late til 2am on the weekends, so I know where I will be.
The three of us ordered starters and mains so I tried a lot of the items... I had the pesto pizza with mac and cheese with tofu fish and chips starters.
I had to double check and make sure it was all vegan as it tasted THAT GOOD! The server was lovely and I just really loved it there - I would really really recommend it.

Really enjoyed the hot spicy pizza there - definitely the cheesiest and hottest I've had so far in London. As others have said, the owner's passion is obvious and it comes through in the food. I'll definitely be back to try other menu items. Also very competitively priced!

On the city for a training, went to another local vegan restaurant that i had been before, this time the service was not good and decided not to eat there. Feeling disheartened I was surprise to find this one just a few minutes away. The service is excellent, the food is simple but with a great variety of choices and good value for money.

Initially intended to be pronounced Vegan-ay (in an Italian style) rather than vegan-eee (the letter E) this is a lovely addition to the area.

I really enjoyed my meal. I had the tempeh based ‘fish’ which I was nervous to try as I’ve never really enjoyed tempeh but it was very nice and I would order it again - if I wasn’t keen to try the rest of the menu! It was served with lovely tartare sauce and tasty wedges. (See photo.)
I believe they will soon have an alcohol license too.
Next time I’m near enough I’ll make a point of going there.

We visited VeganE while staying at a hotel nearby. We got a few dishes to share so we could try a bit of a selection. My favourite was the fish and chips, but the mac and cheese was a close second. Also tried some dessert, the hazelnut brownie was great!

The restaurant is run by a young family so their children are all over the place but honestly me and my friend loved it because it felt like you're dining with your family in your living room😄the owners are extremely nice, they even lent me their charger because I forgot to bring my UK adapter and had to wait 10 hours still for my flight. the food came quickly and was really good. I had the Mac'n'Cheese (~4.5 gbp), the chicken burger (~5.5 gbp) and the Margherita pizza (~6 gbp) on the go. The MnC was really good, it had some self-made "bacon" on it. I don't like bacon and this didn't taste too much like "real" bacon so for me it tasted extremely good haha. The burger was probably one of the top 5 burgers I ever had, lots of stuff on it but still manageable to eat. my friend had the sweet potato burger and loved it as well. I ate the Margherita cold a few hours later because I ate it at the airport and it tasted really good aswell.
