I have gotten into the habit of double checking opening hours on the business’s website and/or social media accounts.
Even then, owners don’t always advertise changes or unexpected closures immediately, so I’ve started calling ahead to ensure they will be open, especially if I am making a specific trip or if it is a long distance.
Yes it’s slightly annoying to have to do, but a quick phone call can avoid disappointment.

Had the 'Rib' Burger 11/10! So tasty, fresh and flavourful. Didn't know what to expect, but was really impressed. Delish thick cut chips & sweet potato fries. Also got the chocolate milkshake (vegan). It was honestly the best vegan milkshake I've ever had. Way better than most normal dairy-based milkshakes. Keen to try the rest of the menu.

I don't like to put a bad review here, as this place is vegan and trying to make it out there. But I got to be straight up - they made, possibly the worst vegan burger in the world - it was literally a piece of half-fried bread in a burger as "mock-chicken". What a joke. You'd be better off making a vegemite sandwich at home.

I have been meaning to visit this place for quite a while and it was definitely worth the wait. Very friendly personable service. Fresh home cooked burgers with excellent flavours and textures. Large variety on the menu too. We had the Stacks On and Ribwich with sweet potato fries. Very generous serve of fries and good size burgers with very interesting buns. I plan to work my way through the menu! Highly recommended.

Travelled to Fortitude Valley to give Veganburgz a go and was left dissapointed. Ordered the chicken burger meal $20, waited an extremely long time for food to come out and then it came out wrong. I was already in an uber home before realising. I am pretty sure they forgot my meal and what I ordered as they gave me a completely different burger that was more like a fake meat patty, which was extremely salty.

This hole in the wall type burger joint only has outdoor seating on benches (only in Brisbane), but there is ample space to enjoy their incredible burgers! I had the “Free Little Pigs” which was BBQ jackfruit and slaw in a delicious burger. So good and the jackfruit was so flavoursome. Old mate had the “Sweet Kale-roline” and said the pattie was incredible, and her whole burger was packed full of goodness. Chips are also generous servings for the price, and are perfectly salted and just some very high quality chips right there.

Looks a little unassuming more of a takeaway with outside but cool seating spot, next to the pub. But the ‘Burgz’ as they call them were just so delicious it’s like when you’re full but want to have another one because it’s so good. Never seen a Fairy Bread spring roll dessert (like it sounds plus ice cream) and well worth squeezing it in.. Easy to park free onsite great bonus near the cbd these days. Can’t fault the food. Friendly service. They make all their stuff there no bought in patties etc like some places. Also of note is the meal deal for $20 where you get almost any burger plus a good serve of fries and a shake or soft drink. Can’t wait to go back.
