Amazing healthy vegan food - Edit
Lovely place in the heart of Athens. I had the cashew nut feta cheese starter and moussaka, both were beautiful and full of flavour. This was followed by the chocolate hazelnut praline, which was really tasty and smooth!

Get the Moussaka & gourmet side salad - Edit
Try the traditional Moussaka! It was amazing and not too heavy. The side salad was perfect and refreshing. 10/10 would come here and order this again 😍

Veganaki - Edit
So much choice and really tasty. It’s the most I spent in one place but was very worth it.

Lovely little spot - Edit
Had a delightful time at Veganaki with its peaceful atmosphere, friendly service, and simple but tasty food. I had the rovitsa - mung bean and chia patties with tzatziki and salad - with a dry white wine, followed by tiramisu. I've also ordered takeaway from them before and had a really delicious falafel wrap and a nice, if somewhat bland, pizza.

Late night chaos - Edit
The restaurant closes at 11:45pm and we got there at 11 so we were cutting it really fine but they still let us sit and order which I appreciated (we had been on a 1hr delayed ferry for 7 hours!). They didnt have any bread left as it was so late - which meant no burger or club sandwich, no pita pockets, no wraps and no pitta to go with any appetisers. I got the avocado salad which was nice but was just salad at the end of the day. My partner had hungry eyes and got the veganaki special thinking it was a burger and not burger patties so she was disappointed but it was still nice. I loved the potato wedges and they were quite filling. Then we got a tiramisu which was good but i wasnt a fan of the crust. We really appreciated the staff being so accommodating and the food was good, it was our own fault for arriving so late.

Wonderful souvlaki - Edit
This place is totally GF but you wouldn’t know it! The beer and pita were indistinguishable from regular. The souvlaki (on a plate) was incredible!!! One of my favorite meals in Greece! We also tried the hummus (hard to go wrong) and Soutzoukakia, which wasn’t a favorite. It was good, but basically just falafel in tahini. Service was great and lots of seating

Gooooood foooood - Edit
I had hoped to try the moussaka, but it was late, and it's a popular dish in a popular restaurant, so they had run out. I had the keftedakia (?) instead. The tahini sauce is ... wow. Well, the whole dish is great.

Great place for a meal with so many options - Edit
We went for lunch. I had the souvlaki and my husband had the mousaka. We also had the Kormos and tiramisu for dessert.
Read moreThe main meals were wonderful, particularly the souvlaki. So fresh and tasty, I ate every last bit. My husband enjoyed his dish but said it was very rich. The desserts were great again. My husband left the base of the tiramisu as it was mostly coconut (he didn't like it so I ate it!) And the kormos was like a fridge cake, hard choc with cookie type chunks - very nice. We enjoyed a wine and soft drink and coffee, all great. Staff were helpful, spoke great English and there was a lovely vibe about the place. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Pros: Fresh and tasty meals, So much choice , Helpful staff

Loved it! - Edit
In Athens for a conference and couldn’t believe my luck; a vegan restaurant about 2 minutes away from my hotel! What a place! Nice atmosphere, really friendly staff, and there was so much food to choose from. I ended up getting the moussaka because I don’t think I’ve ever had it in my life. It was super tasty! Hope I can find time to go back before I have to leave. Lots of choice and very reasonable!
