Vegan Mongolian Food - Edit
I liked the cozy and chill interior design. Who I assume is the owner was very friendly and helpful and showed us pictures of the dishes.
Read moreI had the Mongolian fried dumplings with Kimchi and Potato Salad. It was very tasty, but I wish it had some more filling, cause to me it tasted a bit too much like bread. Nevertheless, It was my first time eating Mongolian food and I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't mind returning to try some of the other interesting dishes.
There was no lunch menu.

Vegane mongolische Küche in Berlin - Edit

My Mongolian debut - Edit
I had to wait outside for a little while, as the woman running Veganaa was delayed for some reason. Once she finally showed up I no only had some fine dumplings together with terrific kimchi, but also a chat with her. Just like me, a vegan for 20 years, no less. Here's to another two decades of cruelty-free food and lifestyle!

Lovely and delicious - Edit
While I was looking for a vegan restaurant in Berlin, I stumbled upon this gem. I love Mongolian food and I was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan version of the dishes I adored as a non-veg.
Read moreThis place serves both Mongolian and Russian dishes. To add, the atmosphere was nice and cosy, the food splendid. Something different from the usual vegan dishes.
I also had their vegan cheesecake which was nice as well. A solid 4.5 so I am going to give this place a 5 star. Would definitely visit this place again to try out the other dishes.

Solid Coffee and tasty cakes, a little bit pricey but it's all vegan! As far as I saw they also have dishes, didn't try any yet though

The place is cozy, the people are nice and the food is very tasty. The mongolian food gives you the chance to try something new and if you not up for that then there are other options as well😄

Best food in Berlin so far - Edit
Lovely Mongolian and Russian food. I had the Pirojki (Russian dumplings) and they were beautiful. I was unsure in the photos of which were Russian and Mongolian. The Mongolian ones are flat like a pancake, and the russian ones are puffed up like Chebureeki. Watch out, the potato salad has sweetcorn in 😅

Unique place, lovely food - Edit
Came here on a Monday at 12 pm and this little place was already almost packed. Since the lady/the owner sometimes has to run the restaurant all by herself, have a little patience, or best come after 1.30 pm after the lunch crowd is gone. I ordered Huitsai, a glass noodle soup with savoury "meat"balls, veggies & potato chunks in a broth full of nice spices. Also got a salty Mongolian "milk" tea called Suutei Tsai and some kind of crispy onion cakes from the lovely lady.
Read moreThere was relaxing Mongolian music playing in the background and 2 outdoor tables. The German group next to me also highly praised their veggie curry and noodle dishes. As there are items like spaghetti, chili sin carne and frikassee on the menu, I feel like this is also the perfect place to bring your less adventurous or veg*an-sceptical friends & family along. Note that you can only pay cash.

Tasty food, quiet cafe - Edit
A small quiet cafe with good service. Menu is all in German but it’s pretty easy to work out what it says for non-German speakers. We had the ‘frikasse mit soya-schnetzel’ and ‘gebratene tofu mit pack choi’. Both were delicious but the rice with the tofu dish was a bit bland.

Delicious food and nice service - Edit
It was pretty quiet when I came in. Ordered the Soya-Schnetzel, arrived fairly quickly. Really fantastic food! Not over complicated flavors but still super flavorful. Had cake for dessert, quite good. Lovely staff, spoke English (wish I could speak German but alas I cannot yet), very nice. Check this place out!!

Very oily but otherwise delicious - Edit
Really unique and delicious. Small restaurant with long waits but worth it. Only issue was that the food was all fried and oily but not any more so than your regular Chinese takeaway.

Interesting tasty vegan food - Edit
We called up front to schedule a take away and the staff were nice enough to prepare our meals to go as quickly as we needed. We got the russian pierogi and the homemade dumplings and they were very tasty. I would recommend to eat the dumplings right away while they are still crunchy. The russian pierogi would be my favourite here. Really delicious and filling. They come with potato salad, coleslaw and soy sauce which was an interesting but tasty choice.
