A small home restaurant that offers vegan plant-based dishes. Britney Monique Moore is the owner and head chef who graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College. Her daily sell-outs are her non-bacon sandwiches, the red lentil Indian burger, schnitzel cauliflower, and her cashew cheesecakes (just to name a few). Everything that comes out of her kitchen is homemade from the condiments to the seitan. She offers soy free, gluten free, sugar free, and oil free courses. Relocated from 10, Ein Shakhak St. Relocated from Har Ardon 8. Open Mon-Thu 12:00pm-8:00pm, Fri 11:00am-3:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-8:00pm. Closed Sat.

Great place with good fake meat options - Edit
Everything was delicious, they make all the ingredients by themselves. The owners are lovely and welcoming. Highly recommended

Very delicious - Edit
It's a small family run restaurant in a backyard. They are very friendly and it's comfortable. I felt like in a living room. We had the specialities: burger and cheesecake and both were absolutely delicious.

Perfect southern hospitality - Edit
Both hamburger and BLT are amazing, but the best isn't on the menu and therefore has to be ordered at least one day in advance: Britney's biscuits&gravy. Her mushrooms gravy is the best I've ever had!

What Vegan dreams are made of - Edit
Wow! I've enjoyed Vegan express for a while now. They used to be in a hotel in the industrial zone, but now they moved to a residential neighborhood and made a small restaurant in the back of their house and somehow its even better.
Read moreEating here is an experience. Firstly, the service is as warm and welcoming as it gets with Chef Britney coming out to greet her patrons and her husband Yetidya presenting and explaining the various daily menu options. The new restaurant is in their backyard with lots of space heaters near the tables. It is real homey, but also fun and enchanting, there are swings to sit in and even a little couch which, as it was late, my 4 year old lied down on and Yetiday brought her a blanket. The most warm and welcoming service you will ever get in a restaurant in Israel or probably anywhere.
The food is mind blowingly good. The king is their Fak-on Bacon Vegan Cheeseburger. It is jam packed with goodness, and you will lick your plate clean. Everything is made on site, and the vegan Bacon is incredible. All of the sanwiches are also great, and the Serving size of the portion of the African stew would have been, challenging for any one person to finish. HUGE portions.
We asked Yetidya what we should order for our 2 kids, he told us there were different battered Schnitzel options but usually kids just end up eating what the parents eat. This was exactly what happened, and at the end of the meal, half a giant sandwich, and some fries later my 5 year old gave her first review of a restarant "This restaurant is AWESOOME!!"
It truly is, great prices, unbelievably flavorful and healthy comfort food, special and beautiful setting, and wonderful service.
If you are staying in mitzpe Ramon or driving to/from Eilat, this is a must stop. The truth is no matter where you are in Israel, Vegan Express is worth visiting.
Pros: Extraordinarily Delicious Food, Healthy & Affordable w/Big Portions, Friendly welcming service, special atmosphere

Hi Maya, good news! It is fully Vegan Again! Apparently, the owner of the hotel (where this restaurant was previously) pushed them to include dairy. When he wanted to open a meat restaurant and put the 2 together, they decided to leave the hotel and now they made a restaurant in their backyard which is 100% Vegan.

One of the best - Edit
In an incomprehensible, but excellent decision, we decided to sail for a one-day trip in the Mitzpe Ramon area. At noon we arrived to the Vegan Xpress about which we had heard a lot.
Read moreWhat can I tell you, it was wonderful (especially the roast beef sandwich that competes proudly for the best title in the country) so we decided to stay for the night at the Soul - Vegan & Vibes hotel inside which the restaurant is located.

If you’re in the area - you MUST visit this place.
Read moreTiny family restaurant, just 3 tables outdoors. We ordered take away by whatsapp: mushroom burger with bacon and almond cheddar cheese, roast beef sandwich and veggie salad. Owners send you the menu in Hebrew and English, you text your order back and in 15-30 minutes it’s ready. Cash only!
So about the food. It was DELICIOUS.
I’m quite picky about vegan burgers and cheese but my oh my, this burger was one of the best I had. The taste, the texture, the presentation - 10/10! So flavorful and beautiful ✨

Super delicious - Edit
I ate a lot of vegan burger in many different country’s and many of them taste fantastic but I can say that this one is definitely one of the best and the definition of a real burger. I’m talking about the homemade king of the house, it’s outstanding.
