Vegan Ville is a cute, little, completely vegan store that offers baking ingredients as well as a good sortiment of mock meat and vegan yogurts. On top of that, they offer freshly made baked goods.

Incredibly expensive, oily baked goods - Edit
While they have a decent selection in the grocery area, their prices are WAY beyond what you can find in other places. There's a report out there that they just repackage things from the grocery store or other less expensive vegan sellers, and that the bakery is not vegan (check the comments on their FB).
Read moreI gave their bakery, specifically the donuts, a couple of tries, but they were always dripping with oil and pretty unpleasant. The only thing I bought more than once and wasn't totally disappointed by have been the tamales, that's it.
The sit-down restaurant portion, Elk, is similarly overpriced and overrated.

All the imported stuff is easily 3x more expensive than in the US, it’s ridiculous specially for a country where minimum wage in one day is what most people make in 1 hour in the US.

El lugar es muy bonito. Es muy agradable desayunar ahí. La comida está muy rica y tienen gran variedad. En la tienda (que está ahí mismo) tiene gran variedad de productos, comercializados y hechos en casa. La pastelería es deliciosa. Todo es completamente vegano y sabe muy bien. Los precios están normal. La atención es buena.

This place has lots of gems, they often import Ben & Jerry's, Baileys, vegan dog food and other stuff that you literally don't find anywhere else in the city, but I reckon they are fully aware so they crank up the price, sometimes to an unreasonable extent, so you either have to fork up lots of cash or miss out.

Firstly, the address on the page on Happy Cow is incorrect! And caused us all sorts of problems, ending with us taking an Uber. VeganVille y Elk is on Tenayuca #54, NOT Ave Providencia!!
Read moreOnce we sat down in the lovely surroundings, we had a feast of BBQ Tempah salad, vegan burger, vegan hot dog and tofu cheesecake! All of it was delicious. Also noteworthy are the staff, our waitress was very helpful and kind and let us try other things to taste. She had impeccable English which helped us. Highly recommend!

Really good house-made yogurt made from cashews and coconut. I was offered a taste of the plain and the vanilla w/ stevia and bought a container of the plain. Good selection of chilled and frozen foods. Small-ish selection of dry goods and health/body products, snack bars and gum, cakes, organic apples, bread and gluten-free products. I stocked up with hummus, loaf of dark bread, apples, pasta, olive oil, etc. April 15, 2016, they opened a new location – Tenayuca 54, col. Letran Valle – which has a store, restaurant and coffee/cake shop.

A really cute shop that has pretty much anything you need to make smoothies, desserts, etc but no fresh produce (they have fresh bread and pastries though!).
