Not crispy spring rolls - Edit
I had vegetarian spring rolls but I was quite disappointed, they were not crispy and didn’t taste great.

Good & cheap - Edit
We ate here a few times and ordered several items. The food was alright, came quickly but we had to send back every time as it came with egg even when we specified no egg. Good atmosphere at the market though.

Greasy - Edit
The food is quite greasy and rather far from healthy but if you’re hungry it can do the work well. I took the stir fried spicy noodle and it appeared to be the noodle from those instant soups, quite ok.

Multiple shops; varying quality - Edit
This listing seems to be lumping several night market shops together. As of Oct 2022, there are (depending on the night) three or four places in the main food court area with vegetarian menus or at least menu sections, and one with a separate, fully vegan menu. The fully vegan one, aside from being the easiest, was also the best, offering a variety of classic Lao street food for cheap. It's not healthy, but it's cheap, tasty, and fast.
Read moreThe others may require some explanation to get the idea of vegan across, and the results really vary in quality. I tried every place that was there in 10 days in LP and there was nothing I really disliked, but I'd recommend finding the shop with fully vegan food if you can.
Also worth mentioning that there are several stalls in the alley across from the main market space selling khao nom kok (soft rice cakes filled with molten coconut cream). At least one of them confirmed to me that they use no egg or dairy. If you're looking for a dessert after hitting the night market, it's worth checking out.

Just ok - Edit
Despite the name, this place serves meat and doesn’t label vegan food so you need to do your usual explaining no fish sauce, eggs etc when pointing at the vegetarian menu. They actually forgot our order which we only found out after a long wait and then checking. The food was ok- cheap, edible, fresh.

Not bad - Edit
The food was tasty, but a bit too spicy. The portion is quite small.

Delicious and cheap! - Edit
Typical night market food made vegan.
Read moreWe hade a Tom Yum with noodles, and a noodle wok (the name escapes me)
I asked for lots of extra veggies in the noodle wok and wasnt disappointed.
The only downside was the tofu which was in small pieces and dry. Otherwise it was the sauciest and most umami noodle wok I have had as of yet, and the girlfriend loved her Tom yum.
Dishes were 25.000 kip
Pros: Price, Night market!, Flavour
Cons: Tofu

3/4 stalls with veggie and vegan menus - Edit
was only expecting one stall but there was around 3 or 4 right next to each other that all offered vegetarian/vegan menus so there’s plenty to choose from one of which offered a veggie buffet. it was so nice to find as i usually find it hard to find vegan options at markets or struggle to translate so it was really good that there was plenty of options around. all reasonably cheap as well.

Okay, does the job - Edit
Flavour is okay, portions are small. Just glad to have found a place with tofu and a designated vegetarian menu. Not a whole lot of options, but decent enough.

Eatable but... - Edit
First of it's not a vegan restaurant but they do have many options.
Read moreI took the clear soup and clear it was, it tasted like water honestly. Pasta and tofu had no taste either. I had to get some soy sauce to make it ok.
My s/o took the basil tofu. It was supposed to have many vegetables but had only a few and no basil. The plate was super small and look nothing like the picture.
Spring rolls were ok.
I don't know how someone rated 5 stars, maybe we got unlucky but I wouldn't recommend at all.
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Tasteless , Don't give the food that's advertised

Great food stall! - Edit
I think it’s the only place that has a separate vegetarian menu! Most dishes on there are vegan anyways or you can order them without egg. I ate there almost every night, it’s very affordable and good😄
