Yummy! - Edit
Really good food! The orange chicken was very crispy and my non-vegan family really liked it too. The tom yum fried rice was also really good

Had a great time here with a bunch of buddies! The menu is awesome, and there’s lots of variety. They have a pretty sizable space and can seat larger parties too! Would come back anytime!😄

Great-tasting, quality food with many vegan options and modifications upon request. - Edit
Restaurant is very clean with ample parking and seating. Great-tasting and flavorful food that comes out piling hot. Server super friendly and advised us of so many gluten free options and modifications. Lunch specials and regular menu are very reasonably priced with very generous portions.
Read moreOrdered pineapple fried rice with gluten-free modification.
It was the best fried rice I’ve ever had, full of flavor and a very generous portion. One order is enough for 2 people. Chef came out and personally greeted us with friendliness and gratitude for us being there.

Not great - Edit
Ordered pad thai and drunken noodles. Both lacked flavour and the tofu didn’t have a nice texture. Disappointed by this place after reading all the nice reviews. Mango boba was good though.

Really tasty; my second time there customer service was lacking - Edit
Very good food so much so that I wanted to go again a second time on my one week trip visiting from Sedona, AZ (used to live in Ventura county)
Read moreMy friend and I had a delicious meal and both shared. I had Pad Se Eww and he had Spicy eggplant. I saw many other items on the menu I wanted to return to try. No issues that first visit.
Went again a few nights later with a different friend and we got there at 8:15. I called earlier in the day and they confirmed they are open until 9 pm. Immediately, the vibe changed when we walked in and the gal working that night at register and seated us was incredibly rude. She seemed pissed off and said she doesnt usually seat people this late and they may close early. She RUSHED us at 8:17 (and remember was sup to be open to 9 pm) as we reviewed the menu. In addition, another gal from the back began coming out with a MOP BUCKET which was full of industrial chemicals (not vegan friendly ) and began mopping as my friend and i were deciding.
I am allergic to heavy cleaners and it's not appropriate when we just sat down. We looked at each other and left and went to eat some Indian food up the way.
TOO Bad! Another tasty place with bad service. :(
I hope it changes. I am willing to give it another chance when I visit again - but not near close!

Really Good! - Edit
We order from here, often. We’ve enjoyed most everything we’ve tried, even the meat eaters in the house like it. I love the green beans with tofu, spicy fried rice and drunken noodles. Believe it or not, their French fries are really well made. Not gross and greasy at all.

Found this place while visiting the area. They’re in a new, spacious location. Food was prepared quickly and was tasty. We ordered Brussels sprouts, red curry with quinoa brown rice, vegetable soup and chow mein for a family of 3. Portions were good and we had leftovers for the next day.

Vegan food taken to another level-Thai, Mexican, American - Edit
The restaurant is currently moving to a larger location in the same small mall. We had our first visit there recently. We came for appetizers. It will not be the last visit! We started with Brussel Sprouts appetizer. It was SO good! Ample amount of fresh Brussel Spouts that are crispy on the outside and firm on the inside. They are encrusted with a sweet soy sauce and topped off with a spicy vegan mayo that is over the top. The layers of flavor are outstanding. We then moved on to the spring rolls. Four Spring Rolls that were crispy on the outside and packed with flavor on the inside. I can still taste the splendid mixture of Shiitake mushrooms, carrots, cabbage, and glass noodles. But if that was not enough add the Thai sweet and sour sauce that they make in house. Tangy, sweet (but not overly sweet) it was outstanding. Our next appetizer was Tofu Satay on bamboo skewers served with a spicy peanut sauce. The tofu was marinated in a light sauce and grilled to perfection. The peanut sauce was light and yet packed with flavor. The restaurant is clean including the restroom. The staff, cooks and waiters are very attentive and are willing to explain everything on the menu. They are reasonably priced. We had a wonderful experience and will be back for a full dinner soon.

Had the Pad see ew and partner had the Pad Thai. Pad Thai has a lot of sweet chili sauce if you are into that. Both were outstanding and I would recommend going out of the way if driving down the coast through Malibu.

Lovely little neighborhood spot - Edit
I’ve been making the choice to eat out at mom/pop places over chains lately. This all vegan menu was a nice surprise! We enjoyed their starters of Brussel sprouts, miso soup & avocado roll. Our entrees were pad Thai vegetable, chick’n & broccoli, & mild curry w/ tofu. Food was tasty & fresh. Was busy w/ take out & diners eating in.

Above and beyond the usual vegan Thai food - Edit
There are literally dozens of vegan Thai places in Southern California but this one is one of the absolute best. The pineapple fried rice in particular is bursting with interesting flavors. The curries are also excellent. Did not try the non-Thai dishes on the menu but they have burgers, quesadillas, and others. Very friendly and helpful staff; nice atmosphere.

Expensive and small portions for ok vegan food - Edit
The food was good, not great. The portions were small compared to any Thai place I've ever been to. Nothing on the menu excited my wife and me, not many entrees. Felt like a fast food joint, eating area was not comfortable. Very expensive! Twice the typical price for half the food. It was a novelty to experience, but we wont be back.

Serving Up Vegan Food and Puns - Edit
First visit since pandemic (how did I not review yet?!).
Read moreLovely little spot in Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park - you can order by phone or online to go, I went post-run yesterday thinking it would be busy (it was), the establishment is small but the staff/personnel are super friendly.
I recommend the lunch special, I got the mixed vegetables with fried tofu; AND Pineapple Fried Rice - so yum! It comes with cashews and raisins. I’m not a fan of onions but I even ate those! Excuse the photos, it was post-run and I ravaged my food that was to-go. Also- ordered the sweet potato fries. 🤭
PS, Love the name - Vegan Thyme/Time!

A must stop! Even non-vegans love it. ❤️ - Edit
I travel a lot for work so I'm always looking for yummy and HEALTHY vegan food. This place hits both marks. I've stopped in at least 3 times on my own and have brought non-vegan business partners here for lunch yesterday and they loved it! They really enjoyed the fresh springs rolls, "shrimp" tempura 🍤 , drunken noodles and green curry. (They weren't big fans of the vegan chicken... you can go wrong with steamed or fried tofu though!)
